Fantastic story but with some flaws
I will be honest. You will either love this game or hate it.

The gameplay is fun and as long as you choose to use all the powers you have, you will not get bored quickly. Using only guns however, will make it repetitive and boring.

The world is detailed and the story is really exciting. But the road to the end is not perfect due to some bugs and sometimes major issues in the game's coding. Characters will get stuck in enviroments and triggers will occur randomly sometimes.

If you can overlook these problems this is a really good game. I hope they will be resolved in Mass Effect 2 which I am really looking forward to play.

Rich universe
As though being a fun FPS-style RPG wasn't enough, Mass Effect has an extremely rich lore, with a many unique races and an interesting backstory on how each of them had developed. Wonderful game!

One of the Best Console RPGs
From the makers of KOTOR comes Mass Effect. I'm still playing my way through it but if you like KOTOR you will definately enjoy this. It has a real "Star Wars" feel in many ways. Well written and great looking. Great price, and despite the Chinese characters on the cover, it's all in English. Well worth getting, especially for the price, and with ME2 out very soon, it's time to get in on the story before the sequel comes out!

Mass Effect is a Bioware classic. ME2 is on the way and if you are planning to buy the second ME, wait for it while playing the first one (again and again). If you still haven't played this one, you're missing a lot! Quick, what are you waiting for?!?
