When an immense mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes into contact with a mysterious alien artifact in a remote star system, its communications with Earth are mysteriously cut off. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura’s communications array, but he arrives to find a living nightmare—the ship is a floating bloodbath, the crew unspeakably mutilated and infected by an ancient alien scourge. Clarke’s repair mission becomes one of survival as he fights not just to save himself, but to return the artifact to the planet … at any cost.
Gore!!! If you are into gore, this is one game you cannot miss! While playing the character, you might find it a bit sluggish at first, but in no time you would get used to it. The plot is fantastic, there is even a aidding device for you while pressing 'R3' which I personally think helps a lot rather than looking at maps. There are different weapons that could be bought while playing this game, my personal fave is the Line Gun, almost kills yr enemy instantly! Graphics are superb! Can't wait for Dead Space 2!
RE5 Killer, Period. Imagine if they scrapped the GI JOE attitude of RE5, put it in space, gave you some cool space guns, and actually made the game scary. If you did that, you would get the biggest sleeper hit of the past few years...Dead Space.
At first glance it may seem like an RE4 rip-off. But RE4 didn`t create the 3rd person / over the shoulder shooter, it just perfected it. Its hard to compete with perfection but Dead Space comes very, very close to it. Amazing smooth, not only does the game look good, but sounds good as well. The sound design is almost flawless. Every little sound adds even more tension to this already frightening game. There are moments when you`ll actually jump. How many games have done that lately?
If you`re a survival horror / 3rd person over the shoulder shooter fan, don`t wait any longer. Snag a copy of Dead Space and see for yourself what everyone seems to be so excited about.
