Good, but needs a little work... It's a game with great potential. The single player and the co-op is very fun.
It lacks how ever in the PvP department, the game definitely needs some patches and work to get it up to scratch. It can be difficult to find matches, and once found they can often be very laggy.
If you're a fan of the genre, I'd recommend it for the single player.
Great game I played the first operation flashpoint and was happy to hear that they were making a second. The original game actually made you think rather than just run in and shoot. Dragon Rising is the same and can be quite hard in sections. But there are many ways that you can approach each objective which will result in many hours of play.
almost there i used to play the PC vers Op Flash, i loved it and i've decided to give this console vers a go, graphics for sure is up there with all other next gen games, control i would say PC is still gonna be easier since alot of functions u just cant quite use controller to achieve. game play, like most of the reviewers out there, i would say its not a perfect 10/10, but its at least for me a 8.5/10, maybe they picked a wrong time to come out, COD:MW2 came out just a week later, so most people will compare them... hard luck... but its still good, but you need to tyr the online game play. thats what you want for Op FP.
Great game If you're looking for the ultimate real war experience (as far as it possible with modern games) - this game is for you! This is not a typical FPS game - it demands good tactical thinking and cool head, otherwise you'll die in disgrace... Great single player campaign, great online experience!
Great online co-op saves this game Ignore the hype about realism. This is a game. Challenging and punishing. But it's still just a game. The difference about this game is that it requires patience, planning and teamwork. Running and gunning will get you very dead very quick. This game is not for the casual FPS nut who likes to lone wolf through games blasting everything that moves. The single player campaign is adequate but lacking in refinement, and your AI squadmates are down right annoying most of time. This game is best played in the online-co-op mode with friends controling your squadmates. The game then truely comes alive and is intense, rewarding and fun to play, if a little repetative. You will spend most of your time running to various locations to execute your orders, and half the time you will decide to just avoid contact with the enemy until its absolutely necessary. And therin lies the heart of this game. Having the dicipline to play tactically, keep a cool head and not give in to that C.O.D conditioned trigger finger. If you can do that then this game is a joy to play.The other online modes fall into more familiar modes but are equally entertaining and worth playing. Though be warned, there are some frustrating glitches, such as checkpoints that don't work, and events that don't trigger, causing you to revert to previous saves.
