Recieved my copy of left 4 dead 2 today from playasia. The manual and front cover have chinese sections but the whole game itself is in english. Works perfectly on PAL console. This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns. You’ll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you’ll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan. You’ll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You’ll also encounter five new “uncommon” common infected, including the terrifying Mudmen. Helping to take L4D’s frantic, action-packed gameplay to the next level is AI Director 2.0. This improved Director has the ability to procedurally change the weather you’ll fight through and the pathways you’ll take, in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match your performance. A fantastic sequel If I had any doubt that Left 4 Dead 2 was a true sequel and not just an expansion pack, it was blown away within minutes of playing.
The new hand to hand weapons are a great addition and the new enemies add a good amount of spice to the level.
It feels different to the first but in a good way. It's a little less suspenseful and a little more frantic.
This game works great and the game itself is in English.
Fantastic Game As previously mentioned, there are no compatability issues. I've played both the censored and this uncensored version and the difference is amazing. While it's a little similar to the original Left 4 Dead, it's still the best co-op on the market.
Fun, but not a huge improvement on the original This is some good, solid, zombie killing fun. The shooting feels great, and there's just nothing better than fighting through hoardes of zombies with three of your friends. My only complaint is that it feels an awful lot like the first game. Yes, there's new weapons, zombie types and modes (to be fair, I haven't tried the competitive stuff yet), but it really does feel like an expansion pack. That said, I loved the first game, and I'm satisfied with getting more of the same.
