Bought this to run a PS2 through an LCD monitor. It works very well. As with most VGA boxes in this price range, the picture quality obviously suffers from a little bit of blur, and some slight vertical banding, but all in all, perfectly usable and playable. Bonus points for being USB powered and having S-Video support. ...[§ó¦h...]

Gets power from PC USB port directly, no extra power supply needed
Compatible with all AV or S-AV input devices
Accepts any PAL or NTSC system video input and converts it into RGB output for any VGA monitor
Can be connected in a series between the computer and any AV or S-AV so you can use your computer and AV or S-AV without disconnecting or reconnecting any cables.
It can also be connected in a series between the stereo speakers.
It is simple to operate and portable so you can carry it with you anywhere.
Useful, but not worth 5 stars! It is very useful and does not compromise the use of the computer, but the screen is a little blurry and the colors are opaque.

Works as advertised A great bang for your buck, works nicely with my PAL Gamecube. As has been mentioned in the other reviews, the colors are somewhat washed out, but I can live with that, as the overall image quality is more than enough for me.

quite good for the price I used this device to connect my modchipped pal PS2 to a LCD monitor. It works quite well with every games I own (pal 50 or ntsc us or jap 60). As mentionned before, the colors are a bit washed out but overall it is quite a good deal for the asked price.

Not good Included VGA cable is too bad to be useful. Lots of ghosting in decent video modes.
"Can be connected in a series between the computer and " - not with included cable, because image quality is horrible for pass-through signal.
This device doesn't work with PAL-60, so if your console is modded and contains PAL-fix, no luck, only 50Hz PAL titles will be playable in color, no 60 Hz modes and no NTSC titles.
"Accepts any PAL or NTSC system video input" is therefore a lie.
Overall image quality is bearable, but colors are too washed-out, image is a little too bright. And there are no means to fix it..

No title Brilliant and very usefull tool. Image quality isn't perfect for sure, but not that bad, and it is so easy to switch from ps2 to comp, without connecting/disconnecting any cables, even for sound amplifier !
For that price, it certainly is a good and fair deal. :=)
