Works but PS2 & PSP disappointing I bought this so that i could connect my PS2 through my new LCD monitor. It does the job i can play the PS2 on my monitor but the graphics look grainy and lower quality than what it does on my TV. Tried my PSP with it as well with again disappointing results. Going to fiddle with it more to see if i can get it to produce better quality video, otherwise will stick with PS2 on my TV.

Not Bad I guess this is an optional choice to buy it or not, it is still a good thing though.

Poor image quality with PS2 I used the XCM Box to connect my PlayStation 2 to a Samsung 20" 1680 x 1050 LCD display. It did the job, but produced an annoying background pattern of dark green horizontal lines. This isn't noticeable during bright scenes but is quite distracting during dark ones.

Horrible... Do not even bother wasting your money on this one. It has horrible ghosting issues when converting component signals to VGA. Even on the highest resolution, games are rendered virtually unplayable, the colours are atrocious and it is extremely pixellated. Tested using Xbox 360 & PS2.

Great quality!! I bought this device approximately 2 months ago for my PS3 and I am very satisfied with it!! It is even possible to put to it its PS2!! A lot choice of resolutions! For my part I turn(shoot) on 1600*1200 on 1 cathode-ray screen!! It is the must in YUV especially if you possess 1 PS3!!

Nice VGA Box I've bought this vga box two months ago, image quality is verry nice with Xbox (1080p) but it isn't necessary for Wii because the output resolution is only 640*480.
Only problem, i have a pixel line of 1 cm like a mirror on the right but it isn't verry embarrassing...

Amazingly Mega Cool VGA Box! I hooked up my PS2 to my 18.5 inch lcd monitor using this XCM Mega Cool VGA box and wow what a sight to witness it was! I have the normal third party component av cables, but now I am planning to get the official sony component av cable to get even better picture quality. It shows picture without any lag. The text is way much clearer and sharper. This is the best VGA box you want for any console out there today in the market. I have seen other videos showing this box working with Wii, XBOX360, PS3 and they all were superb. But I never found a good video for PS2, still I risked buying it, and I am not regretting. It's worth every penny. But I had to shell out extra 32 dollars for the custom duty and octroi crap. If only play-asia had mentioned lower price on the package, I would have escaped paying that. But anyways, I am loving this thing and it's beautiful indeed!

Great for PS3 / 360, bad for Wii / PS2 I bought this comverter box so I could use my Wii with my Dell 23" full-HD 1080p monitor. The results were lacking - while the image was *definitely* sharper and up-converted, the colors were washed out, and blocky scan lines were easy to spot. However, when I hooked up a Playstation 3 and set the video output to 1080i, it looked superb, with great color balance and no noticeable scan lines.
This VGA box is lag-free, and great for hooking your HD console up to your monitor. However, if you aim to use an SD or ED console, such as the PS2 or Wii, don't bother, as you're better off with a good pair of component cables and a TV that supports 480p.

good you get what ur paying for:) i suggest people with monitor res 1680x1050 pass this product, cus the quaility is not that great for it, but if your res is 1600x1200 then get this for sure^^

Great quality!!! Although the PS2's picture quality becomes quite ugly, the PS3's is amped alot higher. You can see more detailed stuff on your screen as opposed to a composite cable.
screen size is adjustable which is good, coz you can choose your own size. Switching between PS3/PS2 and PC is quick and easy.
Tested with PS2, PS3 and PC on my 19inch Samsung SyncMaster 930B monitor.

Lots of PROBLEMS........ MMMMMMM.... Lets take a look..
Well this VGA box has lots of problems ... first of all it only ships with USB cable . Second is you have to get a gender converter to convert VGA input.. Third you have to get audio link cables and extra VGA cable... Fourth it was failed to pass 100% correct signals either from PC or any console...
You have to use original VGA cables (gold plated) to get best result .. but it can help you to get 98% of actual signal..
If you put a blank dark light plane color on your LCD screen. You can able to find some diagonal lines which was disturbing your actual display quality and you can also see slightly blur on some places on your screen....
But if you can compromise those problems that is for you and it pass approx 98% of actual signals form PC and Console....
So best deal is that .... Go to the market and buy a new LCD for your console .. that is the best investment of your money...
Don't waste money .. it is hard earned...

Best VGA box for the Wii Finally a VGA box that can handle the PAL 576i.
Now I can launch my old NGC games on my VGA screen.
I was using the Vdigi and the XCM 1080P but now this one is the ONLY one to acquire if you want the best VGA box for your Wii.
The only issue is about the image quality, not as good as the Vdigi or the XCM 1080P.

It's not really cool! Thank you first the team play-asia for the fast service!
But the quality from this VGA box is not good! the picture is not good too compare the vga box xcm 1080p!
I have tested a lot vga box( Vdigi, X2vga2, xrgb2+, xcm)

Gets the job done. This box does exactly as advertised. The only problem is that it's really only the best for PS2 or games that require 480i. It handles all the different resolutions but they look kind of choppy and grainy on my monitor. For use with PS2, Gamecube, and the original Xbox. I'd recommend this box, but for PS3, 360, and Wii I'd have to recommend the XCM 1080P VGA BOX Plus. Also, this box does not come with any cables, only the USB cable needed to supply power. The XCM 1080P VGA BOX comes with cables for all supported systems.
