Great For New Players
Nice controller! Works very well and doesn't seem to show any signs of stopping. Obviously hardcore players will want to shell out the $300 for the asc, but if you're just starting or don't have the money this is certainly a great alternative.

A wonderful GF controller
Just keep in mind before you buy this one: make sure you are confident enough that you'll adjust to it. It's very, very durable, and it shows no signs of wearing-out after a year of using it regularly. I recommend this to all hardcore GF players.

Decent
I just got my controller today with my games and right when I started playing I was very frustrated! My timing was off and I couldn't play the speed and the songs like I normally do at the arcade. Then I kept playing more and I got the hang of it so it's not so bad now.

However, the shape of the guitar needs to be improved. I don't like the shape on the bottom of the guitar because it gets really uncomfortable playing and feeling like its poking my arm. After playing for a while I can feel my nerves. If they made it similar to the ASC with a smooth end, I would find this more enjoyable despite the fact that it is really small. I also agree with Joshy on the strap. It's too small!! They made it like it was meant for kids to play this not adults!

Get this controller if you don't wanna shell out $300 for the ASC. It's not too bad.

good controller
just got the controller within two days! that's fast

it's smaller than the one in the arcade version. my problem is that i use my little finger on the B button when i play in the arcades. i now have to use my ring finger here. the pick is a little sensitive (which is good for me so little force is needed to pick)

it's a good controller. but if you can... buy the asc instead.

Beautiful controller, fast shipping as always P-A :).

I had a few quirks with the controller though.

1: The strap is really short, you should buy a real one if you plan on playing seriously.
2: The buttons and the pick seemed VERY stiff, I've played the arcade version and this was a dramatic change.

Overall though it is a great controller, I'd recommend it if you don't want to spend the money on the ASC :P
