guitar mania guitar review
A great guitar for small people and young beginners. The fret buttons stick a little but ou don't notice that during gameplay. Other than that, this is one, by far, the best guiatrs out there, i think.

Good Responsive Guitar
Works great with GH and GH3, but somehow the fret buttons are swapped and totally not playable in GH:80s and GH2 on a modded PS2. Have yet to identify the cause.

The strum bar works as Up & Down, is less resistant than another cheaper Topway clone and feels just right.

GH1 Smoke On The Water in medium mode is no problem with this guitar.

The skull and flame stickers are a nice touch! Goes well with the chrome Start buttons and Strummer, along with glossy black body finishing.

Excellent for a 3rd party guitar!
This is my 2nd guitar controller.My first was also a 3rd party one.I didn't like it at all.The frets were very unresponsive,the strum bar only went up,and there was no whammy bar.

I was rather relieved when it stopped working on me,so it gave me an excuse to buy another one.So I decided to get this one,and I was pleased with it!

The strum bar actually goes up and down,and is very responsive,allowing you to be able to 5-star Jordan on expert ;)
The whammy bar is also very well done and also functions like the original Guitar Hero controller.
My only complaint is about the fret buttons,that are rather sticky.They require you to press them down really hard in order to function.However,this is a minor details,as when you are playing the game,you don't actually notice this.

I'm giving this 4 stars because although it's not the best Guitar Hero controller,it definetely is one awesome controller,and it's worth the money.

I've had the pleasure of trying out Nyko's Frontman Wireless Guitar for the PS2 and this guitar. Guess which one I prefer(and own)? Yep, it's this one.

The size is just right (I found the Frontman a tad bulky) and the material is leagues better than the Frontman's 'plasticky' looking...well...plastic.

The only thing that guitar is lacking in are the fret buttons. They seem to only register button presses that must be at the exact center. While single notes I have no problem in hitting, chords can be a bit troublesome as if you shift the pressure just bit off the button, the guitar will think you've lifted your finger off the button and cut off the chord...which sucks if you're racking up the points.

The strap needs a bit more work as well. The material isn't that comfortable and it's way too short to hang around the neck comfortably. I had problems attaching the strap to the guitar as well due to the cuts being too damn small (I suggest cutting another groove to enlarge it...which is what I did).

Still for the price, the Guitar Mania controller is awesome!

this guitar is my 1st experience playing guitar hero using guitar controller...AND ITS FEEL GREAT!!!!

the strumbar is sensitive and its good for fast reactions, and it is feel comfortable
after i got it, after waited for two weeks... i straight away try it with Guitar Hero. My lip cannot stop smiling.. hehe
