Not the I bought this controller after reading a lot of reviews, I've had it for like a few weeks now, and it's great.
Yes the controller is small, but it's not THAT small, once you get used to it it'll naturally come to you.
The biggest problem I saw with reviews is the pedal. Every review I saw the reviewer complaining about how the pedal brakes on their first use. Honestly, I have no idea how they managed to break this thing. Sure it's nothing but a box with a little spring inside, it's not THAT easy to brake. I think these people are like STOMPING it. This, the same thing as the size, get used to it, and it's fine.
The pads though, are cheaply made, if you press down on one side of the pad, it's gonna rip off, so be careful.
Overall, I'm loving the controller, it came with a decent stand, and I'm enjoying it very much. In my honest opinion, this is a VERY good buy.
good controller, many problems if you a Drummania player like me that plays on Advanced and EXTREME, the controller is NOT for you. This is a greatly recommended controller towards the Basic players, and new comers.
The pads work surprising well for the price that you are paying, however the actual drum pads are very small, and you will often miss, and hit the plastic.
The controller comes bundled with plastic drumsticks, which I do recommend anyone using. I would go to a store and pick up real drumsticks, but not ones that are as long as 5B's, or you will have to really choke up on the drumsticks to play.
The pedal is also not recommended. You can use other foot pedals from other stores, which is really nice. I personally use a ROCK BAND pedal that is taped to the ground, and it works perfect for playing on the topway.
Also after playing on this for a long time you are going to problem break the controller like I did. I had to open the controller and fix a wire I seemed to knock out that connected the pedal, and even then the pedal's wire still had to be put in a odd taped down area on the drumset.
Overall if you are new to the game, this is a great chance to start out, but if you have been playing for a while, just save up you money and buy a actual Drumset for the game (like a DTXPRESS), and a adapter (UX-16).
Drum controller I cared to leave a comment.
I am having big fun with this controller, it is true that the pedal is not very good and the pad (right crash) they are not fantastic, also too much small for me that I have gotten used to that acoustics; In the end is a controller, a game, and with a bit of practises gets used and believe am amusing a lot me!!
P.s. Sorry the bad english
a good controller I have read a lots of bad comments about the Topway controller, but trust me it's a good controller for the price, the only thing that i dont like is the pedal but its not so bad ! Fast shipping i will buy again on play-asia !

Really good controller If you can't afford thos expensive electric drum kits to play Drummania this is the best alternative there is. I ordered this on a monday and received it 2 days later. Great product and great shipping service. This controller deserves 5 stars!

Must have item for the DrumMania addicts I purchased one in a friday afternoon and I received it the next day (saturday) morning. That's amazing. Pretty fast.
As for the controller performance, it's really good. It won't choke when you do a little bit fast rolls (say, Departure or Tamayura from the PS2 GuitarFreaks/DrumMania version). No misses, do just fine. The problem is, you have to take time just to familiare and get the hang of it. It hurts when you accidentally slammed or hit the red plastic instead of the heads. It's like "Ouch.." to your ear. For the bass pedal, it keeps on getting somewhere. I have to drag it in the middle of my play.
All in all, its a nice purchase. Just get used to it and you'll be fine.
A must have item for those who want to play in the arcade version but doesn't have the everyday budget alloted for it.

Awesome Controller (minus the small heads) The Controller is great and all! Even if there is no stand for its still worth it.
The big problem is that the heads are really small and the yellow and green heads are too near each other. In the arcade they are one under another too but not so near.
Still, a really great product since Im not really having issues with it

below average theres no stand to place it on and unless your a regular handy man that can make their own you'll be having trouble finding one to buy.
Also the drum heads are a good size SMALLER then the arcade set up. Having all the heads, particulary the snare [yellow] and tom? [green] too close together. Making you reach over one to hit the other.
Its alright if you want to do basic songs as all the heads, even the foot peddle have a great response rate but if your buying this in hopes of improving on more difficult songs then you will have some issues.

Good alternative to Yamaha electric drum set At first, I was a bit skeptical about the quality of the drum controller. It was half the size of the drumhead setup on the arcade version, and the drum "pedal" was nothing more than a small sensor similar to the home DDR pad on top of a piece of gray foam.
It takes a little bit of time to get used to the small controller. After that, you'll be playing fine just as long as you use the small black rubbery plastic drumsticks included with the controller and find a way to keep the foot pedal from drifting away.
All of the drumheads are very sensitive to any hit of the stick and fast rolls can be done without any controller-fault misses. The pedal also picks up every stomp of my foot without fail.
Since the drum controller is completely flat, crossovers involving the hi-hat (left triangle head) are more tricky to do. Crossovers are possible, but you'll have to move your hands in a different direction.
There are small angled legs to place under the controller to hit the drumheads more easily. However, there is no stand to place the controller on, so you'll have to come up with a homemade stand of your own.
Pros : All drumheads and pedal always work without fail, much cheaper than getting a Yamaha drumset.
Cons : Tough to do crossovers due to completely flat surface, pedal is all foam and drifts under your foot if not secured, comes with no stand.
I recommend this controller if you're really obsessed and serious with Drummania, but don't have the hundreds of dollars to get an electric drum set.

Excellent purchase Ordered sunday, shipped monday from China, received friday in Canada ---> Nice.
The controller is nice.Quality-price, it's a great deal.Of course, it's a different feeling than the Arcade itself but for
70 bucks, it does the job.Very sensitive feeling.Overall, like I said, excellent purchase.
I knock out a star for the flimsy pedal.I may find an alternative to it in the near future because I don't like it one bit hehe.

Great controller!! I recieved my controler yesterday only took 2days to arrive in Aust. Great work on Play-Asia part.
I am very happy with the controller it is very responsive and works really well with both my pc(with usb adaptor) and ps2 I have no complain with the flat bass paddle that alot of people seem to hate. I found it to be rather good once you get use to it.
The only thing I don't like about the controller is it doesn't come with a proper stand like the Topway one apart from this it is an excellent controller.
