The Pop'n Music saga continues with release of the series' 12th adoption. The sound selection this time covers lots of popular TV and anime tunes, plus a number of hidden tracks. A new easy "Enjoyment Mode" has been implemented for those who are new to the series. A "network VS mode" enables virtual fights and two mini games will round up the game.
The "Character Guide" and "Marathon" modes from the previous work have been implemented again, as well as a "Training" and "Freelancer" mode, making it the series' biggest pop'n music ever. Records can be shared via Internet ranking. A link mode with "GuitarFreaksV & DrumManiaV" and "Dance Dance Revolution Strike" exists.
The Pop'n Music 12 Konamistyle Special Edition contains the usual copy of the game, along with a V-rare sound track 13 music CD, a Drama CD, a Pop'n Music 12 Privilege CD, a phone strap as well a poster.
