this is the best home version of ddr ever crated. It has all the good songs like Parinia Survivor 270 & 290. It also has Max (period) which is frickin awsome. I highly recomend this to any serios ddr player. It has a 110 songs! I will never get bored because it is to cool to be true.

DDR EXTREME 2 IS A LITTLE BETTER THEN THE ORIGINAL DDR EXTREME. BOT OF THEM ARE A VERY REASONABLE GAME!!!!

I say its the best buy out od all the DDR games, its just like the arcade version AMAZING!

Well, if you're a beginner this is a good mix for you.
Experts: Trip Machine Survivor, and The legend of MAX is good.
Mission mode unlocks a secret if you beat all of them.
They should've focused on more arcade experience, like the groove radar, and the extra stages instead of putting a bunch of little extra stuff.

Just look at the great music selection. If you're a hardcore DDR Player with alot of extra cash to spend(Well spent for this, of course!) I'd get this plus a japanese PS2 w/memory card. It's a must for any DDR Fan.

This game arrived with my asian ps2 in 2 days. Simply Amazing. As far as the game goes...just look at the songlist! How could this not be a good game? In addition to great songs, this mix offers endless mode, nonstop mode, and the challenging oni mode. If you love ddr (and have a lot of extra money ^_^), you have no reason to not get this game.

I just got this game. It ROCKS! It has all of the best songs. I recomend it to more advanced players though. It has at least 110 songs. Its soooo cool!

I've been playing this game shortly after it was released and I'm still having fun playing it. This is by far better than any American DDR counterpart. Great for beginners and elitists alike. I've beat all the songs on here except Paranoia Survivor Max Oni and MAX. Heavy. ;)

The Best Mix!
DDR JP is the best PS2 DDR mix hands down. Very close to the arcade experience. Well worth the money!

Eh...
Basically, this is a glorified Konamix. The song choices are a little good and a little bad, with some good classics and some lame pop songs to attract people who have no idea what they're doing. There's a glitch that won't let you turn off the controller buttons during play, which means people using a pad with have some trouble (especially if it's a soft pad). Nonstop and Oni modes are an afterthought with only a handful of courses, none of them very good. Some of the Missions are fun, some are stupid, and some are infuriating. Buy it if you NEED every song ever.

Extreme puts it lightly
Sure, it ain't the arcade version, but to get any better it would have to BE the arcade version!

DDR Extreme
This is the best DDR game that I have ever played. DDR Extreme is a must have. My favorite song on this game is between Kick The Can, 3.2.1. Stars, and Stupid Barber. So go out and get this game. It is the best.

Extremly good!
no pun intended. This game is great, it has 100+ songs (111 or so), and all the great songs from the arcade. Way better then american extreme (I have both), I recommend this to anyone who likes DDR. A Must have for expert dancers.

I'll have to agree with the crowd that this is one of the best home versions of DDR.

It loses points for the timing window change from the arcade, which should at least be an option.

It also loses points for missing modes from the earlier games in the series. Couple, etc. And not being able to select fuwafuwa or brake.

This has some eye toy games and minigames as well as a mission mode which you will spend hours completing! It has a lot of replay value and you should definitely buy this.

The upcoming DDR Festival boasts the same interface and everything that this mix has EXCEPT with newer songs that are from the American Xbox DDR mixes Ultramix1 and Ultramix2.

Better than Max
This is definitely the best mix ever. It's not great just because it has Max 300, but because it has more 10 footers than any other mix. Bag, Sakura, Max 300, Maxx Unlimited, The Legend of Max, Paranoia Survivor, Paranoia Survivor Max, and if you can unlock it, Max. It has all the classics, and most of the songs ull ever want and need to play. I've only played Extreme in arcades. Where I live, that's the only mix that arcades have. So it's great to have this game to practice your songs and show off in an arcade, especially if you have a memory card, so you can even play your edits in the arcade!

Whoever said this wasn't joking!!! This is THE best DDR game ever!!! 111 Songs total... ONE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN!!! I got this game for X-mas and i still have yet to play all the songs!! Of course this is due to the game having so many catchy tunes that you just want to dance to over and over again thus not giving you the chance to try out other songs!!! Some of my favs are 1998, Daikenai, Speed Over Beethoven, and V. Actually there's hardly a song i dont like!

Pros: amazing song list! 111 Songs! Difficulty is high for unlocking certain songs which makes the replay value higher than any ddr game out there! Oni mode and tons of nonstop modes availiable! Best ddr yet!!

Cons: some songs still haunt this game Cutie chaser and after the game to name a few. Unlocking certain songs may be too hard for plastic mat owners... thus making the high-dollar purchase of a metal mat a must!!

Yeh I agree...I just played DDR Extreme for the first time today and it was the greatest DDR game ever! There's such a wide selection of songs, and it even brings back the favorites!

For all you people who want to buy this game soly to look cool and say you wanna Play Maxx 300, get DDRMAX... Extreme is for the J-pop lovers, but if you think your so great, they have Paranioa 290 and The lengend of max. Have trouble with Maxx 300? try a song twice as fast!

I got the game this saturday - and have been playing ever since !

I have played ALL the Japanese Dance Dance Revolution games so far - and this is without a doubt the greatest version yet.

There are so many great songs in here that I don´t know where to begin.

My wife didn´t like the Japanese DDRMAX2 because of the song selection - but she is already hooked on EXTREME - because of the great licenses.

It's finally here!
I actually had the wrong address written down and it still made its way here. I was so excited just knowing it was here and every song I play just makes it better. This is a must have, especially for those really let down by DDRMAX2 USA.

Best DDR game ever...
I have played this game for a while and it's just incredible. Finally you have the choice between more difficulty modes, which makes the game interesting even for my girlfriend now hehe.

Also the song selection is really great and huge. You will find suitable songs for fans of every genre. The game comes on a DVD disc so I think there must still be a lot of hidden songs.

I highly recommend this game to every DDR and music fan... it's a must in every import collection.

Definetly ready for the next installment of DDR! Any of the mixes in the series is worth the money - replayable, enjoyable - and as someone else mentioned - a great workout! Hopefully this mix will exceed my expectations (as the last few have).
