Bad
Only buy if you are a serious DDR player. This is an almost exact replica of DDREX from the USA. The title screen and navigation is all in japanese, and the songs are not what DDR fans want. Only buy if you want to complete a collection.

it's okay..
This seems like a desperate attempt by KCET to revive DDR in Japan. Most of the songs are new for Japan, but they are just songs from Ultramix and it's song packs with new step charts, which are certianly better, for the most part, than the Ultramix step charts. There's also the Karaoke revolution songs from DDR extreme US, and some songs from the Japanese Karaoke revolution. The main thing I don't like about this game is the scoring system. I think it''s incredibly stupid that one non-combo step and you automatically can't get anything higher than an A. That, and the menus and everything are all in Japanese. None of the previous DDRs had all the menus in Japanese, so it can be hard to navigate. Anyway, I would recomend this only if you're a serious DDR player.

Not what i expected.
The song selection was mediocre. Great songs form BeForU though. Decent game with some great songs but a lot of letdowns as well. Same interface as DDR extreme US. Wasn't as good as DDR EXTREME (JP)

No title
Festival seems to be Japan's game of catch up. If you are an import DDR game collector and don't have an X-Box with Ultramix then Festival will have a bit more appeal because of all the songs being new.
A word of warning for importers, the menus are in Japanese, unlike the previous mixes.

Not as good as previous mixes, but still ok.
The game is a collection of new songs with some konami originals. It has extra games you can play with your EyeToy if you have one. The main game features a mission mode which has some very challenging stuff. If you've got the previous DDR's, you might as well get this just to add to your collection.
