beatmania IIDX 10th Style features a total of 88 tunes, of which 54 are based on the Arcade version of the game. The game contains a special "Beginner's Mode" with low difficulty suitable for those new to the series. As Limited First print edition, the game comes with a beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY entry card as privilege extra.
The idea behing the game is simple: You take the position as DJ and are challenged to hit the correct button on your special designed turntable controller at the right time to complete the song.

Originally purchase back in November of 2005 I'm freaking thinking this one is my favorite, but all other style are great too!

Great songs for music based game = one really great gamea I've been a fan of music games for quite a few years and had been waiting for the Beatmania series to hit the U.S. for years.
When Beatmania finally hit the English PS2 for the first time I was so excited (...and then I played it...). As usual the originals are almost always the best, so I ordered 10th style for my first TRUE game of the series.
Being a techno junkie I looked up reviews and info. on all the IIDX's. Definetly not disappointed with this one, a wonderful selection of (88 songs total), much more of a challenge than the U.S. version yet at the same time not to challenging for the beginner -light mode isn't to hard to learn/get use to- (not to mention MUCH better song selection), hi-speed choices (.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, and 4) good for all bpm's, nice interface, very easy to read/understand, and most importantly plenty of techno =D -(L.E.D. - Acid Vision)

Very Good This is the first IIDX I've ever played, and I have to say i'ts fantastic.

No title This is the first IIDX game I've ever bought or even played, and I can't say I'm disappointed. This is a really high quality release. Don't worry about the menus being written in Japanese or anything like that, since most of the text is in English and you can easily work out what the rest means.
And by the way, it arrived in Australia within 6 days, perfect packaging, perfect condition.
