In a ranging thunderstorm, a baby zebra is abandoned by a traveling circus. A horse farmer Nolan Walsh rescues him and takes him home to his daughter Channing, and she calls him "Stripes". Stripes is soon introduced to the barnyard family, led by Tucker Ruffshodd, Frannie, Goose and Reggie. Day by day, Stripes looks at the Turfway Racetrack nearby, and dreaming to be the champion in the horse racing. Born as a zebra, it seems impossible, but with the help from Tucker, who has coached a host of champion horses in the past, will his dream come true and bring glory to Nolan again?
