Genius
Yasunori Mitsuda is a musical genius. Not only him but also Nobuo Uematsu and Noriko Matseuda who also worked on the Chrono Trigger soundtrack, but don't always get credit. The work these three put into this music clearly shows, all of the tracks are fantastic. The extra arranged versions included with the soundtrack are absolutely beautiful.

Simply amazing
Words cannot describe the perfection that the soundtrack to Chrono Trigger demonstrates. For a Super NES game that is over a decade old, the music holds up extremely well. There is a ton of variety, and not one track is too much like the other. Unlike many game soundtracks, each track stands well on its own, and there is not a single track that is filler. I highly recommend adding this one to your collection. It wouldn't be complete without it.

A classic
I can't express the joy and memories hearing those melodies again after so many years from playing Chrono Trigger.
Its not a new production, its launched after the port to the NDS platform, but still CT is a great game now just as 15 years ago, and one of the best things of the game was it soundtrack. Its music is simply beautiful.
I really recommend it.
Now about this particular presentation, the package is really nice, with a special 4-disc case and a plastic orange sleeve with countour. A great collection item. The DVD, despite being short, is a great bonus. It includes the two orchestral songs that came with preorders of the DS release and an interview with Yasunori Mitsuda. As a fan of orchestral music, I enjoyed the video and the medley terribly.
This is a must for fans.

A solid soundtrack
Given the fact that I don't have the OSV I decided to buy this instead. This OST is amazingly good; Mitsuda sure put a lot of love in every piece. I find all the songs interesting and I know I'll be playing this OST for a very long time. Now, the DS sound chip made some songs sound different from the SNES ones and I think this should be worth noting. The bass drums are softer in some songs for example but don't get me wrong, the sound is great though.
I still give this OST 5 stars because it's the most complete around and it's pure quality.

A True Classic!
Chrono Trigger is one of the most prized memorable games for many RPG enthusists! And why? The MUSIC! Robo's Theme, Frog's Theme, the Fair, everything! Excellent game, the soundtrack is amazing, I'm very happy to finally have this! A must buy :)
