Another outstanding Cave album
This album, the Ibara Original Soundtrack, is another extraordinary work of art from Cave. It is consistent in quality with dodonpachi DAI-OU-JOU / KETSUI, ESPGALUDA and Mushihimesama, although it is very different (like the rest are among eachother). With this album, the difference could be attributed to japanese composer/remixer Shinji Hosoe taking the head seat. He has done some work on the ESPGALUDA and Mushihimesama albums, but he took a back seat as an arranger. This time, he is responsible for EVERY track. Yes! Even the arrangements. This is pure Hosoe at his very best. The tracks flow in and out of eachother so gracefully, you could swear you were listening to trance. The progression of tracks rises climactically in intensity until you reach "Mother Teresa," the final boss theme, where it goes all out in an extremely hardcore fashion. In short, none of the tracks on this album suck, and a great deal of them are absolutely wonderful. You are in for something new here, and I recommend this vehemently. If you really can't decide, think about the hot mom figure you'll be getting alongside this album (Dr. Teresa Rose -- mother of the 5 Ibara girls). GET IT NOW! :)
