A wonderful composition to accompany a game of the same quality.
Back in the days of Super Nintendo, Genesis, and Playstation, video games seemed to slow down in terms of visual progress. 3D was becoming the new thing, but being a new way to present games that not many developers had fully utilized before, there seemed to be limitations. Some of these developers used the soundtrack to add depth to the atmosphere, and engage the player deeper than graphics alone could ever do.
This soundtrack, although not the very best of game soundtracks, is an excellent composition, and does well to complement the game it was featured in. At four discs, there is plenty of playtime, and most if not all tracks will draw the listener in with ease. There is plenty of variety and enjoyment to be had in this soundtrack, and I highly recommend adding it to your collection.
