詳細描述
The Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack is based on Square-Enix's record-selling PlayStation2 hit RPG game Final Fantasy XII, which was released on March 16th, 2006. The album contains the complete BGM of the game, composed, arranged and produced by mastermind Hitoshi Sakimoto (who has been in charge of other popular video game music projects, such as "Vagrant Story", "Final Fantasy Tactics" and "Radiant Silvergun").
The 4-disc soundtrack contains a total of 100 tracks, including the theme songs Symphonic Poem: Hope (composed by Taro Hakase and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra) and Kokoro no Senshi as well as Kiss Me Good-Bye (performed by Angela Aki).
The First Print Limited Edition ships with a 28-page booklet inside a special DVD type box and picture labeled discs as long as supplies last.
Awesome Sakimoto never fails to impress me and this was such a needed change from the repetitive overated uematso we keep hearing for aeons.
First of all the package is outstanding, it folds out and contains all 4 "picture" disks along with having tons of art from the game and a booklet that fits in with the slipcase.
The ost is overall amazing, however compared to his past work this does sound like his style is changing slightly, for better or worse there are enough tracks on this ost that the average user will enjoy, not nearly as good as Vagrant Story but it comes close for many tracks.
I was lucky enough to snag one of these two weeks ago as it has been oop for months now and sure to be a collectible years from now.

wonderful masterpiece, and its not done by nobuo uematsu!! i wish they had this kind of limited editon with FFX but thats ok. in fact, i love the game and the soundtrack, i wasnt gonna buy this one cuz i already got the mp3s, but i was more drawn to the whole package, although i was gonna give this 5 stars but im a little disappointed cuz the first edition cd that i know comes with a dvd performance of angela aki singing "kiss me good-bye", and this one doesnt!! but oh well, i enjoy the 28 page artbook that comes with it.

One of the best CDs ever!!! I don't have the game (yet), but I can say that when I bought this, it rocked! Sure, some of the songs have been used on most other FF CDs/soundtracks, but the others are what really matter! You NEED to buy this NOW!!!

A different yet familiar sound... This music may not be composed up of Nobuo Uematsu, but to those who have played Final Fantasy Tactics (ps1) and loved it as much as I did (especially the music) then you'll absolutely love this one.
As they are composed by the same person. You'll hear those familar sounds. The music itself fairly fits this game, which is lovable in everyway ^_^

Fantastic! Amazing! An incredible soundtrack, even though i do not have the game, this music is brilliant, i especially like Ponelo's Theme and the FFXII Main Theme. It was packaged incredibly well and delivered swiftly! Wooo!

Fazit: befriedigend

Quasi 'Final Fantasy Tactics' A beautifully presented soundtrack! Westerners be aware the tracks have Asian tags (even the filenames) so if your player won't run them as is you will need to remedy that.
The music is - as the title implies - reminiscent of the music in 'Final Fantasy Tactics'. It's certainly a strong soundtrack with some golden moments. Perhaps somewhat short on memorable themes or at least some of them might take some growing on you. There is some debate about this as there are those who consider this the best FF soundtrack yet.

Hitoshi Sakimoto - The Genius Final Fantasy XII's music is so complex, rich and vast that one listening is not enough to appreciate it.
All themes are jewels ! For one comparaison, I've found John Williams, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith, Gustav Malher, Prokoviev, Wagner in the sounds....
To resume this Soundtrack :
A Masterpiece of video game music which will mark history and minds and a Must Have.
Thanks Mr Sakimoto - You're a great composer !

Refreshing Well it certainly isn't Uematsu, but it certaintly doesn't try to be him either (some of his melodies are present though!) Personally, I'd rather chose Uematsu-san over this, but that doesn't mean that this soundtrack isn't any good! Heck no! It's fabulous in it's own way! Purely orchestral, these melodies will strike you as refreshing, new and overwhelming! Dare I say that these works are more complicated than Uematsu! Yes, they certainly are and that may bug some fans of previous FF-soundtracks. Introducing more instruments and independent melodies than in any of Nobuo's works. Some may enjoy his simpler melodies over this. Beautiful is one word that can describe this music. Classic is an other. Hitoshi Sakimoto is a worthy composer of replacing Uematsu's role. I look forward to his future works. If you're a FF-fan and love the music in the games, do yourself a favor and but this soundtrack! Listen to it one time, and if you didn't like it, give it a second chance; listen to it one more time and you'll love it for sure!

Superb - best music purchase in ages! Whilst I loved Uematsu's work on the other Final Fantasy games.. this is the one I listen most to at the moment.
I obviously don't own Final Fantasy XII for PlayStation 2 (as I don't speak Japanese or own a Japanese PlayStation 2) but this music has spoken volumes to me.. especially disc 2, track 11, 'Theme of The Empire'.. Classic! Five stars, excellent stuff..

The worst soundtracks of final fantasy These soundtracks are very bad. I regret Nobuo Uematsu who composed master-pieces with the other final fantasy. They wouldn't have changed the composer of the music. If I could have listened to these soundtraks before, I woundn't have bought it ! If you like final fantasy and video games music, I advice you rather the soudtracks of the 9th opus.

No title This soundtrack is a very different style from Nobuo Uematsu's...longtime fans of the Final Fantasy series may not like his style as well, like me. There are several good songs, such as "Symphonic Poem: Hope", "Kiss Me Good-Bye" and the beautiful introduction of "Dream of Becoming a Sky Pirate". The booklet and packaging are amazing, and the delivery was incredibly fast. But overall, not worth the money in my opinion.

Every FF Fan should buy this! This Soundtrack is extremely huge and has some amazing memorable pieces on it like "Symponic Poem Hope", "Time for a Rest" or "The Forgotten Capital" which is very nostalgic and kind of reminds me of FF VII.
The box itself is worth the purchase and is a real gift for all the Fans out there.

Sakimoto raises the bar If you are a fan of Hitoshi Sakimoto, Final Fantasy, or videogame music at all, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. It is Sakimoto's finest work to date. I could go on forever about it, so we'll leave it at that (not to mention it's a Limited Edition print!).
I could not believe how quickly this arrived! Thanks Play-Asia!

The lengthiest and overall best quality for bulk VG OST to date! Richard Jacques (Headhunter Redemption) and Hitoshi Sakimoto are neck and neck in talent, but Hitoshi takes the lead here with this magnificent OST by sheer force of numbers! 100+ tracks 90% of which was composed by Hitoshi himself. 4h:30m + worth of music! Worth every cent. If you want to hear music that will shape your ear to be a great composer, or to give you endless chills, get this right away!

Unbelievable! This is probably is the best FF soundtrack to date! The sound quality is through the roof and there so many great songs to choose from. It's not quite as memorable some past FF soundtrack like 6 and 7 but it make up it in sheer quality and sophistication. This set is worth every penny. The packaging is also one of the best I've seen for a OST I barely want to touch, it's so pretty! Buy this immedately! You won't regret it.
