Loneliess in music form
Looking at the other reviews you know this is a fantastic OST, with or without playing the game.

It captures the lonely atmosphere of the story so well, even the tracks not featured in the game contributes to the feeling. I'd say this CD is closest to SH1 for me in how they convey their game's emotions with deceptively simple compositions.

Overall the best soundtrack of the series.

Simply beautiful. Like the game it contributed tremendously to, SH2's music moves and unnerves with effortless grace. As with the original Silent Hill's soundtrack, it's much more than a simple compilation of songs. Truly made for listening from start to finish.
