description
This fighter features 44 brawlers FROM classic 2D fighting games. Just about every character FROM the Street Fighter series appears here, including Dhalsim, Blanka, Bison and Ryu. Eagle makes his first appearance since the very first Street Fighter game, so he will be new to most of you. SNK brings fighters FROM heralded franchises King of Fighters, Final Fight and Fatal Fury. More obscure characters include Haohmaru and Nakoruru FROM Samurai Showdown and Morrigan FROM Dark Stalkers.
Storylines have always been secondary in fighting games, and it's no different this time around. The yarn Capcom spins is a simple one. Two monster corporations are at war, and a huge martial arts event is arranged to settle the conflict. An Oscar-winning screenplay? Not exactly. Do we care? Nope.
In this game, "EO" stands for extreme offense. The acronym is apt, because players can unleash the game's most devastating special and super moves with a simple flick of the C-Stick. To narrow the sprawling gap between experienced and novice players, Capcom has implemented two different control modes: GC-Ism and AC-Ism.
Designed for beginning players, GC-Ism features the C-Stick control described above. This feature also automatically blocks for the player and can determine the strength of an attack based on how hard the L and R Buttons are pressed.
AC-Ism is for veteran brawlers. It requires the player to manually enter light, medium and hard attacks.
In addition to the two different control modes, players can also choose between six different fighting "grooves." Each groove is based on past fighting systems and caters to the individual style of the player.

Freaking Sweet
There are 48 characters, 2 secret characters that are really cheap. The replay value is great. If your not very good at doing combos there is a mode that lets you do combos at the press of a button but it's not as fun. There are alot of cool lines and stages. KOF rules!

WoW... The best fighting game in GC!
This is one of my favourite game and my second favorite fighting game, all my favourite fighters are here... Mai Shiranui, Ryu, Guile, Terry Bogard, ...
The game is very fast & furious and the only bad thing is that the Cube controller don't be the best for this game perharps you can buy a hori controller or arcade stick.
For this price and with free Memory this a one of the most wonderful and fantastic oportunity to buy a great game.

Great 2D fighting game
Featuring 48 characters and 6 grooves, offering many different types of play, Capcom vs. SNK 2 is sure to please Capcom and SNK fans. However, I highly recommend getting a Hori digital controller or a arcade controller before buying this game, as playing with the gamecube controller proves to be a challenge.
