Mercedes has once again made her way to the figure makers. This time, it's the sculptors in Alter who has the chance to meet this flighty fairy princess.
The fairy is seemingly floating among the vines with her wings unfurled, if you're a fairy catcher, now's the time to act. Like Gwendoline, this figure of her comes with a diorama base that is loyally crafted to give the image of the fairy forest.
Look at all the lush green and how it sets off the figure's rich skin tones. This is a figure that collectors simply must have and a beautiful ornament even for those who have no desire to start their collection.

Mercedes
Beautiful figure, the sculpt, the paint work, the pose even the base stands out if you know Alter's work you should know quality is not a concern and all their items are well worth what you pay for, if you have the chance to grab one of these I highly recommend it, it's going to be rare and expensive soon.

Another Excellent Peice from Alter
I thought this statue looked great from the pictures, but they really do not do Mercedes justice. Alter is, I think, well known for excellent quality work, and this is no exception. Whether you are a fan of Odin Sphere or not, anyone can appreciate this piece! The sculpt is excellent and the pose is dynamic and interesting, but for me it is the use of color that really elevates this to the top of my collection. The paint job is spot on of course, but with the detailed base the whole thing just comes to life on the shelf! It begs to be placed near a plant of some kind, to bring out the vibrant greens give Mercedes the display area she deserves. I have seen statues go for ALOT more than this that did not look nearly as nice, so I must very highly recommend this statue! If you can get your hands on it, absolutely do so. The Gwendolyn from this series is also very nice, but IMO cannot quite compete with the sheer vitality of this fairy princess.

odin Sphere : Mercedes
A very good figure, with lots of details, and a lot of work done on the base. Even though the quality would deserve 5 stars, the character itself lack a bit of charisma (have more of a side character vibe than a main character vibe, if you see what I mean), so overall, 4 stars.
