Last year, in the Sapporo Snow Festival, an ice statue of Miku was made. To celebrate her completion, Good Smile released this crystalline, Chibi-fied version of her.
Her package comes with her smile, singing expression and the dotty eyed Hatchune Miku face parts and an icy leek. You can also change her right arm, hand and feet parts for more poses.
For the first time in Nendoroid history, figure makers used semi opaque materials. The white and blue, semi-transparent plastic at the tips of her hair brings out the clean, purity of snow, and showed the small details such as the snow flakes embedded in her hair.

The Adorable (and now Articulated) Snow Miku
This model is everything the former model was. And much more! It now has articulations on the elbows and knees. Also, the articulations on the crotch have a wider range, close to the figmas. The ear muffs, muffler and gloves also add the touch to justify getting another Snow Miku, even after buying the former version. It comes also with a valuable and rare "Serious Hatchune" face and lots of accessories.
The ice tray is also very interesting. According to the instructions, it can use it to make chocolate, too. But it is needed a lot of skill to do it and to not use chocolate too hot, or else the tray will be damaged. With the necessary skill and knowledge, one can make a good decoration for a cake.
But once again, the high price tag and limited availability deters me of totally recomending this. I give five stars for the product itself as it is pure cuteness made with quality.

Cute as before

The only difference is the colour paint, the paint looks darker and sharper than the first version, and also comes with an extra expression which the first version doesn't have it, and also extra accessories. Moreover, buying this, a portion of money will also donate to Japan Red Cross Charity (for the tsunami or earthquake tragedy). Why not I lend a hand?
