I received this item as a Christmas present last year, having put it on my wish list after watching petedorr's youtube review, and I have to say, I'm VERY pleased with it. It's every bit as awesome as he described it. The style, weight, paint and detail of this statue are all top notch. The raised three-dimensional grass that crowns the classic, checkered 'Green Hill Zone' pedestal is a really nice touch, and the packaging is outstanding, both functionally and aesthetically. Also, each statue is number and comes with a credit card sized card of authentication, each with a unique registration number.

I'm an avid video game fan, but I don't own very many of these types of items as I'm very particular, and most just seem like cheap junk, but this piece is the rare exception. If you're interested in this item I'd suggest purchasing one sooner than later. I'm almost positive that this piece will increase in value given it's high quality and limited production of only 1500 pieces.

This is definitely a quality item, and a 'must own' for those in the market for a high-end piece of Sonic/SEGA memorabilia. 5 stars!

This, to me, is the definitive look for Sonic. Some sculpt him as a bit more realistic or cartoony, but this style and level of detail really hit home. Great quality figure and a nice base to display it on. He looks fast while standing still...that's Sonic.

Awesome Sonic Figure
Well after a huge number of delays, and many months of waiting, the Sonic figure I've been waiting for became available.

The painting quality of the figure is very nice and definitely does not disapoint. It's also a fairly large size for such a small price and is a must have for all fans of Sonic.

I also had to wait a year to receive this statue. But it was worth it. It is very nicely detailed and much larger than I had expected. Makes a very nice addition to any Sonic collection.

Excellent details!
Being a Sonic fanatic, this statue was a great addition to my collection. The likeness and facial expression is faithful to the original Sonic game on the genesis, and the base is a nice depiction of the first stage in the game (Green Hill Zone). Although Sonic's legs are slim, the statue is way more sturdy than it seems. Colors are brillant!

The only thing that made me wonder was why Sonic is pointing to his nose, lol. Given that this statue was made in limited quantity and such affordable pricing, I am surprised that stocks have not run out yet.

Best Sonic Figure made so far
This figure produced by First4Figure is probably the best Sonic the hedgehog figure ever made so far. Made of hard solid pvc, the quality and details are casted accurately as in Sonic's original game. The pose of Sonic running also give a sense of what Sonic is good at, blazing at high speed. This is a must have for all Sonic lovers =)

Classic
A very high quality figure. It harkens back to an earlier design of Sonic than the one which Sega have employed since Sonic Adventure, and as such is well suited to the collection of a long time Sonic fan.

Best Sonic figure
Considering the price and quality, this figure's a bargain.

The figure looks exactly like the prototype pics. The base is slightly larger than the knuckles figure of the same series, and likewise, there's holes in Sonic's shoe that slot into the base to make him stand.

Here's hoping First4Figures make more products in this small size range.

Worth the Wait
I only had to wait YEARS for this to be available, but this is exactly what I wanted. Oldschool Sonic, before the "Extreme" look, is quite a collectible for long-time fans. Don't know what Volume 2 will hold, but I'm just looking for the basic characters, so gimme a Robotnik and maybe Metal Sonic, and I'm done.

Must have for Sonic collectors
I had this statue on pre-order for over a year, so my anticipation for it was really high. It was much larger than I had imagined it to be and it weighs alot, definitly does not feel cheap in any way. There is tons of detail on every inch of the figure, from his small tail to the blades of grass sticking out of the base. Each statue is hand numbered and comes with a card of authenticity. Without a doubt this is a must own for all Sonic collectors and will surely be highly sought after years from now when these are no longer available. Get it while you can!

Just Plain Cool
This Sonic the Hedgehog statue is great quality. It's much bigger than I expected and very heavy! The painting work is also very good.

It comes in a pretty cool box although it serves as more of an annoyance than anything, since this looks so much better on a shelf where it can be admired. This statue dwarfs the FFVII resin statues I own in size and the bright colors are eye catching.

If this company makes more Sonic themed resin statues, I will be buying another because this is worth the $99! Thanks, PlayAsia!
