Since Rei and Asuka are fighting so hard for humanity in the anime/manga already, they are more than welcomed to have some fun in the real world.
Enjoying the last of summer, the girls are clad in their respective yukata (summer kimonos that are thinner) ready to go to the festivals. Although the package barely shows a patch of the paved pathway, the girls' clothes and demeanor shows that the activities at the shrine are very much to their tastes.
Created by Katayama Hiroki of Kurushima, the figure of the girls are sculpted to the most life-like degree down to the flick of their fingers, the fold of their kimonos to the intricate bow of their obi behind their backs.
This elegant portrayal of summer activities requires a minimum amount of assembling. Attach Rei's right arm, Asuka's left arm to their respective bodies and put Asuka's pig tails at both sides of her head to complete the display.
