See more of your favourite characters such as Saber and Tohsaka Rin in Fate Extra, an RPG which allows you to fight the magical battles your way.
You are one of the seven chosen masters. Wake your servant and battle the other six for the holy grail. Although this installment follows the storyline of the original PC game, with all the brand new gaming elements, this PSP game is not a mere port.
You can choose the gender of your player character, Saber gets a new filmy red dress. All characters are re-designed with prettier hair and eyes.
The Limited Edition comes in a special illustrated box, a figma figure of Saber, a soundtrack and a visual book.

Fate Extra is a decent VN's style video game. Is not exactly deep in the gameplay department, but it has many charismatic characters and a really enjoyable story that functions with the genre and format.
The Special Edition is very well made. The Artbook is tiny but beautiful and with really interesting comments.
One of my favorites games of 2011
Also, Red Saber

Must-play RPG for PSP
If you were expecting this game to be a continuation of Fate/stay Night, that's not quite it. While there are many connections to other Nasuverse stories, this game is set in its own alternative world.
If you were expecting this game to be a clone of Persona 3/4, it's not. Despite some similarities, much of it is there to deliberately show the stark contrast between the ordinary daily life of Persona 3/4, against the harsh realities of the Grail War.
Although the Attack/Break/Guard combat mechanics for this game seems simple at first, its hidden intricacies just emphasize value of collecting information on your opponents (a key part of the game's story), as well as preventing it from becoming easily stale, unlike normal turn-based RPG combat mechanics.
For Aksys, this game was clearly a labor of love. Great care has obviously been taken to not only translate the game, but making sure important information about the game and its connection to other parts of Nasuverse were not lost in the translation. Hope to see them work on Fate/Extra CCC as well.

It's Fate so...
It's Fate, so can't go wrong in this one. We got charismatic characters, we got a a nice game with a VERY NICE OST, so it's all good and fair. If you like Fate, this one is a hit, and A BIG hit.

Why haven't you got this yet? Buy it already!
This game is different from what I expected.
But in a good way. A very good way.
If your a Fate/Stay Night fan then you have must buy this, no exceptions. The game, true to it's original visual novel roots, is quite text heavy. The story is great though and very interesting so it shouldn't bother you that much. Also, there are multiple points in the game where you can make decisions that change the course of the game (or kill you instantly, just like in the original!)
Gameplay is original and takes a little while to get used to. Randomly spamming attacks will get you nowhere in this game: you need strategy, cunning and (in desperate circumstances) maybe even a little luck to claim victory.
If you've never heard of Fate/Stay Night then you should get this too. You don't really need to know anything about the franchise to play this game, meaning you can use it to introduce yourself to the Fate/Stay Night world.
So yeah, why haven't you got this yet? Buy it already!
