In order to save the girl whom he has known from young from an unknown disease, the main character passes through the door to another world, becoming a lone adventurer, striking out. In the Vision World, a fun and bizarre adventure.

I'll bet nobody saw THIS coming... Fantastic RPG, one of the best on the system. Game Republic really shows their stuff with this one, proving not only that they know how to make a genuinely fun and well-structured turn-based RPG, but also that they know how to make full use of the PSP hardware, with top-notch graphics, smooth 3D modelling and animation, and absolute zilch for load times. The story is charming, and the characters quite likeable, but it's the simple yet wholly engaging battle system that really carries this game, and carries it well.
Anyone who enjoys classic turn-based RPGs, and doesn't insist that every new game must be a model of innovation, will be virtually guaranteed to love this title. It's one of those rare gems that does just about everything right, and will have you totally hooked, from start to finish.
Definite 5/5. In the running with Gurumin and the Japanese version of Legend of Heroes: The White Witch for overall favorite PSP title -- and is the hands-down winner for overall favorite PSP original title.
