Great shmup compilation!!!
The parodius series is comprised of some of the best shooters in the market, and 5 at the of 1 is a great bargain...

Great, silly fun
I love the wackiness of the Parodius series. I mean, who can hate on a cat ship, a corn boss and hott girlz! Gameplay wise it's solid old school entertainment. If you are used to playing newer shmups the mechanics may disappoint, but I think the Gradius style still holds up today. It's good, solid fun. A solid package and very recommended.

Tons of fun!
I'm usually not into shooters, but I had a chance to play Sexy Parodius (originally on Playstation 1) a year ago. It was a little tough for someone who doesn't play shooters, but it was so colorful and funny that I loved it anyway. I was really excited to find this collection so I could play through the series on my PSP. I'm still playing it, but all the games have great replay value; you always see something you never noticed before on a new replay.
Even if you're not into shumups, this is a great game to try if you like a fun, lighthearted game.
