Macross- A Dream Come True
Well guys.........I got my PSP imports in today, and Macross Ace Frontier is awesome. I put Resistance away for awhile because its so damn good. The gameplay/ controls are great and easy to learn, and the graphics are very sharp. The music is straight from the movies/ series so it is perfect. If you like flight-shooters you'll like this one for sure. The only bad thing I can say about it is, that it took a bit to learn the menu due to it being in Japanese (w/ some English). After playing with it some and learning what things do there is no problems now. There are also a ton of extras in this game- wallpapers, music soundtracks, photos straight from the anime, costum fighters/ mechas, ect.

This is one game Bandia-Namco needs to bring over here................

If you are a Macross/ Robotech fan or a fan of games like this get this game. You won't regret it.

Best Macross Shooter ever
I own every Macross game from 8bit famicom all the way to current date. Macross Ace Frontier is by far the best Macross shooter ever released. You play through all 4 Macross saga's. Macross, Macross Zero, Macross 7, and Macross Frontier. It seems they have taken all of the best music from all 4 games to give you exactly the combat music you want to hear when flying. If you like Macross, you will love this game. Easy to figure out how to play for english speaking people as well. This is not a game you will put in and never be able to figure out. I am really hoping to see even a PS3 game of this game come out. Would also really love to see it brought into america as well.

Excellent game, especially for Macross fans
It isn't perfect, but this game still rocks. It is also very addictive, with terrific graphics and music from all the major Macross shows. The campaign mode can be tough, but there are so many mecha to unlock, and the extras--the replay mode, picture gallery, music/movie museum, and the free-battle mode--give the game tons of replay value.

What Artdink did for Gundam with the Gundam Battle series they have now done for Macross. Great job--and it's a great game.

Good representation of Macross Game
A Good macross game with a large list of aircrafts and custom skills. Great graphics.

But has only 2 limiting camera angle during gameplay. One is rear view looking only ahead, and the other is lock on target. Rear view often obstruct view of enemies. Fighter can get stuck with flying into battleships and walls

The first Macross game for the PSP - and it came out with rockets blazing!

With excellent graphics and music, easy to play, and a ton of unlockables - like Gundam Battle Universe. Adhoc is fast and frenzy, just like the anime it came from. (Beware of some slight slowdowns from those rockets!) A must buy for a Macross fan.
