It has been a week since the world has heard from the small Eastern European kingdom of Villtania. As scattered reports from the Villtanian refugees who have fled the country dribble in, the world is hearing a horror-filled tale of devastation by monsters and biogeocenosis experiments summoned for war and world domination by Villtania's leading scholar, and self-described sorcerer, Raimond. The once beautiful Villtanian countryside now runs red with the blood of its people. The United Nations have declared an international emergency and while unable to commit any of the world's armies to this strange, supernatural conflict, they have offered a huge reward to any hot-shot mercenaries or hunters brave enough to take on theses monsters from another dimension and restore order to Villtania.
Warriors from around the world, some for the sake of justice, others for money, have stood up and gathered in the Villtanian battle field. Now, a new war has begun.

I'm glad I bought this version! Get this or the Japanese version. Besides the (somewhat) better cover, you get Guilty Gear XX Slash and not Guilty Gear XX # Reload, which is incidentally available separately should you want to complete your Guilty Gear XX collection.
Judgement is a cool game on it's own, the music is rockin' as always, though the sprites do look a bit small.
Overall you get two quality games in one UMD. What more could you ask for?
One of the best game on PSP! I'm so glad that I purchased GG Judgment on play-asia.com.
This one has two games on one UMD and both are awesome games.
I highly recommand it if you're into fight games.
Over 20 unique and bizzare characters, you'll have lots of fun playing this game.
Freaking Awesome!!!!!!! This is incredible! for 43 dollars total I get GG Judgement to my door which INCLUDES GG SLASH!!!! Shash is like 50 dollars alone for Jap PS2, and PSP Judgement is region free!
US Gamers got shafted with having # Reload in the American version, I'm so glad I got this game instead!!!!!!!
Freaking Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome game! I have been a big Guilty Gear fan since GGX on the Dreamcast. Since then, I only got to rent the other games on the PS2 and have noticed a decline in the graphics of them. Even so, it was the insane gameplay that drew me back each time.
After what seemed like forever, I finally was able to get this game today and after playing with and against my friend for about two hours today, I have to say that it's pretty much exactly the console experience.
I LOVE this game and any GG fan should love it too. The only downside is that the graphics, while still impressively beautiful, are not as good as the console versions.
If it were a 3-D game I could understand the lack in graphics, but being that it's a 2-D game and only a few hundred MB on the Dreamcast looking that great, I don't see why a system with near PS2 processing power and 1.8GB of storage on a disc can't render the sprites as well.
Aside from the graphics (which still look great, as I said, just not AS great) the game also slows down from time to time when playing Judgement with a friend. But that's *usually* if your screen is filled with enemies and both of you are doing Overdrives.
It has slowed down randomly from time to time. Making it very annoying if it does so at critical moments (Like jumping over a cliff or dodging an enemy attack) but I guess it can be expected.
Still, the pros greatly outweigh the cons. This is a must have title for any 2-D fighting game fan looking for fun on the go. And it's DEFINATELY a must for any G Gear fan.
