A classic for Otomate
Solid story line, beautiful Kiyone Kazu's still pictures. Easy quick-loading and quick-saving functions. The voice acting is also well done in this series.

A great game !!
This game has such a fantastic storyline and amazing CGS once you start playing you can't stop !!
But knowing how to read kanji is a must in this game , a Kanji dictionary is a great help , overall an excellent game very highly recommended .

But you must know Kanji - a kanji dictionary will be a good help ,but over all a great game , very highly recommended .

Great Game. Kanji Dictionary a big help!
Hiiro was my first Otome Game and its still a big favorite of mine. A kanji dictionary was helpful but there are a couple of synopsis of the stories on the net if you'd rather just listen to the actors speak. Actually, if you only listen to the voice acting this game is worth it. Be prepared to treat this as the novel it is though. And to really enjoy the stories you should probably take a day or two break between stories. As for the portable version its really worth the buy if you only have the first Hiiro for PS2. It has Ano and extra scenarios and is all around great for Hiiro fans!

Excellent Storyline but must know Kanji!
This game has an excellent storyline that instantly captures ones imagination and makes one want to further advance into the game to see where and how it will end. Voice acting is superb, though not everything is voiced, so knowing Kanji is a must in order to enjoy the overall effect of the game. The animation and artwork is also very beautiful and fluid in colour, while the music is quite soothing and fits the game quite well. This game is an excellent collection to fans who enjoy Otome games, but knowing Kanji is required to enjoy the game to it's full extent.
