description
Y's I and II are the origins of action RPGs. After numerous ports, it has finally arrived on the PSP. Simple controls and a deep story line, the game has all the elements to sate a gamer's addiction. Engage in some real time action, bash into the monsters and run your swords through them, plow through their ranks and enjoy the exhilarating action.
Take on the massive creatures. They may seem invincible, but all monsters have a weakness. Hit and run and repeat. Adol's life is in your hands, push him to his limits and fight white hot battles. The game takes care of all its players, from the novices to the veterans. Start from easy mode and move on to nightmare mode as your skills increase.
ゲームの難易度は「easy(イージー)」から「nightmare(ナイトメア)」までの4種類が選択可能!

Awesomeness
Maybe not the best Ys game around, but definitely the best port. I still love this game very much after all these years and this amazing PSP version does it the justice it deserves!

Classic Ys Rocks
I just ordered this game, and can't wait to replay it on the go. I still own Ys Book 1 & 2 (3 and 4) on my Turbo Duo and know I'll love this version too. One of the greatest series ever made. I'll be keeping my eye on the remake of Ys 3. May pick up Ys 7 also.

Still the greatest
Yes, it's the same game you've played before. Yes, it still uses the bump-into-enemies control scheme. No, it doesn't have the extra level from the poor DS port or the neat little art gallery from the PS2 version. But it's still a great game with some nice artwork, as well as a stunning original arrangement with genuine instruments performed by genuine people.
The rich soundtrack gives the game a new sense of vitality not present in other versions. There's even a soundtrack toggle, which lets you activate one of the ever-popular Ys Eternal soundtracks... which suddenly feels flat by comparison. The mechanical perfection of synth just doesn't feel as emotional. Anyways, aside from the surprising soundtrack, it's exactly what one would expect from a Falcom-developed port of Ys 1&2. In other words, amazing.
