A Convoluted Hodge Podge of J-Games
If you take a mix of Onechanbara, Monster Hunter, Last Rebellion, dotHack, and a smidge of Demon Souls, stir them into a gaming soup, and add a dash of nonsensical story, you'll get Akuma Hunters. As a "Value Soft" type title, expecting a triple A game is expecting a bit too much. However, Akuma Hunters makes a decent, challenging attempt at creating a compelling title, but falls a little short of the goal.
Not only does the player have a number of enemies that mob you while you are trying to fight one on one, if you don't "release the soul" of your fallen enemies, they will ressurect and return to fighting you, which can be a bit discouraging when you first start playing and don't know how to handle the situation. Still, if you expect to get what you pay for, it is a good title for a budget title, and well worth the purchase if you are looking for something a little different. Don't expect to spend too much more than a week or two with this one, though.

Akuma Hunters
a fan of the simple series line since ps2 and Onechanbara and this game is great 4 player character chooses and each with there own style and weapons the game is as challenging as action games come. Look forward to a follow up

take monster hunter and add "Onechanbara" dress-up (that actually help) and you got the idea. It gets beyond repetitive too soon and the cover art was the best part. not to be bitter or anything.
