game that appeals to music lovers Though fundamentally an otome game, what i really like about kiniro no corda 2f is that there is some level of challenge when you play the protaganist (a violinist in a music academy) whose main goal is to form an ensemble and perform in the concerts. This aspect particularly appealed to me, who also plays the violin. ^_^
In order to do that, first you have to raised your violin-playing skills, practise the pieces you wish to perform, form good relationships with fellow musician or else you would have nobody to start an ensemble with, and also have to broadcast your concerts to the non-musicians else nobody will attend your concert; the success of the concerts is measured by
1) attendance of concert
2) each performer's individual familiarity with the music
3) overall group familiarity with music
4) level of difficulty of music
4) have to conform to the theme of concert given
apart from the concerts, the player also have the opportunity to develop the relationship with other musicians, which may lead to a romance. ^_^ as there can be multiple possible endings, the replayability value is pretty high.
one may also decide on the difficulty level (easy, normal, hard) of the game.
As the game is in Japanese, and fairly text-heavy, not being able to read it actually miss out alot of the fun, especially story-wise.
