For all baseball lovers and gamers of all levels, Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2010 lets you step into the shoes of all the players who participated in last year's national games. Take any position you like, try being batter, pitcher and all the catchers, or if you'd rather direct the game, you can sit beside the pit and shout directions.
As a player, you can develop your character, let him take different positions until he becomes an all round star player, and as a coach, you can recruit players through the game to form your strongest team. Want to join the fun? change history? or group your idols together into one team?

Great Game
Easy enough to get into without any major knowledge of Japanese, though it would certainly help if you plan on playing through the season modes and such. Really fun batting and pitching system.

Greatest Baseball Game Ever Made
this game is well worth a purchase if you even like baseball only a little bit. but for those that are hardcore baseball nuts then this game is the greatest baseball game ever made and makes you want Konami to make all Baseball games for all leagues. its fully licensed, pitchers have an abundance of real pitches to throw and arent cut off at 5 pitches. it has an amazing franchise mode, great pickup and play properties, cool unlockables, great presentation, the graphics are some of the best i've ever seen on PSP and it makes you wonder just how good it looks on the PS3. it has very smooth controls, a great hitting and pitching system, great camera, deep difficulty sliders. i can keep going on and on as this game truly has no flaws. i highly recommend it to anyone.

This game is excellent. I too started with PYS 6 for the PS3. THe graphics are smooth and i believe both the gameplay and graphics is better in 2010 compared to PYS 6. What is cool is that it has the newest rookies as well such as Yusei! I think its a better game than MLB 10 the show which I have as you can go through a game pretty quickly. I can't read japanese at all, but its intuitive enough that you really don't need it.
A must buy and Konami makes the best baseball games out there. After purchasing the game, you may be a Nippon Pro baseball fan :)

The graphic is extremely realistic and the gameplay is equally good. Furthermore, a high information content of individual players accentuates the goodness of this game.
In addition, players with little knowledge of Japanese language are capable of enjoying this game as much as their counterparts who understand Japanese. This is because the creators, from my point of view, avoided using Japanese jargons and simplified the process for players to enjoy their game more!
All in all, this game heightens the benchmark of what a baseball game should be, and therefore, is a must-try for baseball enthusiasts.
