Nice intro to Heian Period though... You begin as a highschool girl being transported into "ancient Japan of a seemingly Heian Period setting" world name Kyou. Summoned by the Ryuushin (Dragon God), you have the mission to save Kyou, existed by 8 guys (also known as Hachiyo).
The game is packed with mini games to increased your stats eg. so you can battle the spirits haunting the various places, at the same time you can also try to improve your relationship with the hachiyos (you may successfully end up with one of them); plus a better relationship means easier battle. (Battle mode is very simplistic, so this game's objective is mostly like a dating sim suited for girls)
Also comes with a built-in dictionary to explain the ancient terms used.
Not recommended if you do not read Japanese as it is quite text heavy.
