Previously released on various classical and current platforms, Hudson's Famicom/NES shooter Star Soldier is hitting the Sony PSP - and is at the same time the very first standalone shooting game available for the handheld.
Though the concept of the game remains, Star Soldier received technical improvements in terms of graphic and sound, living up to gaming standards of this time. The PSP version supports two screen modes, taking advantage of the widescreen display. The game can be played with the handheld hold in vertical or horizontal position. Using the latter, the length of the battlefield increases.
Neato port of a pretty average game The psp version of Star Soldier is very unique. Instead of playing the game with your psp the normal way you turn it to the side. This gives you the ability to very the game in its orginal VGA arcade moniter style. The graphics arent that great but they arent poor either. I'd probably pick this up if I was you its pretty fun.
