The Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball series spots an authentic baseball system combines with realistic game play and allows players a large amount of freedom in customization. Aside from upgrading previous modes and filling out the database with newest information on uniforms trends etc for 2008, this new installment features two brand new modes, the success mode and my life mode.

Bring up your own baseball player following a set story line in success mode. Numerous original characters and existing characters are making their appearances in this high school chapter. My life mode is a simulation of a professional baseball player's life, it covers areas such as team memberships, annual salary, marriage status etc.

Other upgrades include an addition of fifty more members into the teams in Pennant mode and a sharing feature in competition mode. Compete against the computer when you are playing alone, launch adhoc mode when you are competing with friends, with this new sharing feature, you only need one game software when you are playing with your friends now.
