Memories Off is a text based dating simulation/adventure series originally published on the Playstation in September 1999. Later, due to its popularity, it is remade for several different platforms, the first to be converted for Sony PSP is the first game, called Memories off ~ Kakegae no nai omoi ... Mitsuketa (Irreplaceable memories, I've found it) illustrated by the well known Sasaki Mutsumi.
The story is based on the high school life of the seventeen year old Mikami Tomoya. Tomoya has sealed away a traumatic past and it is through meeting a group of girls that he rediscovered himself and realized what he really wants, but are his new found discoveries enough to prepare him to face his past traumas?
One of the greatest visual novel games! I just recently started playing visual novel games when a friend recommended me to try it. I personally think that Memories Off has been one of the greatest PSP games ever released.
Don't turn away thinking "It's just another stupid dating simulation," it's actually quite enjoyable!
It's just like any other romance novels or an adventure novel with romantic relationships between two characters. Try it!
The female cast are quite cute too. Every time you reach a CG you just have to say MOE!
The BGM are really enjoyable too! Great music with great CG's and the vocals are also good. If you're not taking my advice you really are missing out on a great PSP game.
