Persona 3 is one shining title not only in the Shin Megami Tensei / Persona franchise, but in the RPG genre in general. With a deep plot, enchanting characters and an absolutely stylish soundtrack, this is one of the most memorable games in players' hearts. For those who have played the game before, you can now see the story in a new light on the Sony PSP.
See this glamourous dystopic world through the eyes of a female MC. With the choice of a new protagonist, there are new Personas and scenes.
The relationships and social commu events differ depending on which MC you choose, those who have played the game on the PlayStation2, be sure to try out a different journey to world saving.
The popular aspects of P4 are incorporated into the updated system. You can choose all your player characters' actions, this will give you more control over the speed of the battles. Pretty girls such as Yukiko will be making an appearance, see her younger form and pass by her inn for story events.
the portable port of a classic First things first, if you don't know an extensive amount of Japanese then the game will lose some of its appeal. That said, the game features a harder difficulty level that will out right punish you for making any mistakes (classic ATLUS trait). You're essentially getting two games for the price of one, a male and female mode. The female path is the new version made specifically for Portable, and it features a few difference from the original protagonists path by changing up the majority of the social links and a few key story events (I won't say which to avoid spoilers). I have yet to play much of the male's remake path but at about 4 hours in its still the same as FES and the original. If you're a persona 3 fan or capable of reading Japanese then I highly recommend the game. If you're just starting with the series I recommend Persona3 FES over this.

FES+ Well, having played this game for the THIRD time, i dare say its as good as ever save for one nagging point that the female main character's route felt like it was a rushed attempt at times. Otherwise the best possible version of this game so far.

Good, but not that great. Well, what to say? The game's good, obviously. I mean, it is Persona 3 after all. However, it is a very diluted version of Persona 3. To my surprise, so far, there are no anime cutscenes whatsoever. At least, not so far and I've played the game for about two hours so far. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that this is on a PSP platform, but even still. I mean, come on. Pretty much, if you've always been a fan of Persona 3 and the Persona series in general, then yeah, go for it. It's great to that degree. If you don't have a clue about what Persona is or if you've never played Persona 3 on the Playstation 2, then ... I don't know. You may or may not like the experience.
