description
As an idol producer, you have the power to change an ordinary girl to a nation wide idol. Widely popular in the arcades and on Xbox360, the game is now available on PSP, take your idol fledgeling with you wherever you go to show her off and do promotions. As a newbie producer, you have to pick a girl, see her character and design a career path for her. Take her to lessons and to competitions as well as auditions for more public exposure. You sole aim in this game is to mould an ordinary girl into a star.
Push her idol rank up and see special events, the closer the two of you are, the more successful a producer you are. So be sure to get to know the girls properly before taking them to important auditions. Starlight and glamour comes hand in hand, enjoy the story along with the singing and dancing.
Besides impressing fans, you have to take care of rivals. Another production company has brought up a set of cute idols and its up to you to see the true potential in your girls and let them outshine all other competitors in public events.
*Please be aware you can bring up a set of different idols and encounter different rivals in each version.

Great Game!! This game is a lot of fun, whether you know Japanese or not. If you don't it might be kind of hard to get the girls to like you, but through trial and error you can get the lines memorized. The way you train the girls is just a series of mini games so its easy to learn. I would highly recommend this game to any one looking for a different kind of game, or who are fans of the series.
What are you waiting for?? Like most of the other reviews say, this game is absolutely amazing. Even for non-Japanese speakers (as I am), the game is easy (and fun) to play. The only catch is the promotion/communations; where you converse with your idol and need to pick choices for things to say.
I recommend this for anyone, Japanese-speaker or no. Buy this game!

No title This game is outstanding. Probably one of the best I've played on the PSP so far. This game is exactly the same as the xbox version, except for a few obvious changes; such as cell shading and only having 3 idol's per version. The difference is there is a new system called the 'promise system' where your idol will ask you favors and promise them their wishes, or not. The game may not have good graphics as the 360 version, but it plays the same way. As for people who don't understand japanese, it's not that much of a challenge, the mini-games are quite obvious, except for communication. I'm a native japanese speaker so I have no problems.
This game is AMAZING. I love this game! I just got it in the mail today and I have to say it is really fun and it came with a lot of things, such as a collectible trading card, posters/character info that you can use to replace the box art of every single girl! *including the rival ones* and a DLC Ticket/Card thingy (Japan PSNetwork Only). It has beautiful graphics for a PSP Game, and the songs are great. The game can be difficult for non-Japanese speaking/reading people however, but there are plenty of resources on the net that can help. I recommend this game for any one who wants to take a risk and try something new. :D
