Great game and great service
I would like to say that this was my first purchase with Play-asia, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! I was looking for this game for a long time, and I wanted a new one, that has never been used. I contacted the team, and I was very surprised by the service that I got. They answered all of my Emails, and gave me all the information that I was interested in! It also arrived really fast, considering that I live in Israel, which is pretty far!

The game itself is amazing! one of the best of all the generations, and it gives you a lot of options compared to the other Pokemon games. If you are new to the Pokemon franchise, I would highly recommend to start with either Pokemon Soul Silver Or Pokemon Heart Gold.
I bought the Japanese version and I enjoy every second of it ( If you don't know Japanese, I wouldn't recommend this version, since you won't be able to understand the plot = pretty sucks :0 )

Anyway I am so glad that I bought this game through this website, even though I never heard of Play-asia before! You won't regret buying from them!

I am sure that I will buy from Play-asia again! Thank you for a great shopping experience!!

Possibly my favorite Pokémon yet
I've played Red (gen 1), Emerald and Pearl before. Emerald was my previous favorite but this is fantastic. Love that you can get back to Kanto and everything.

Would give it a five if it wasn't for the difficulty. I know it's a kids' game but there's really no challenge whatsoever. My team of only one starter pokémon and some low level HM Slaves have never died and I recently completed my second gym in Kanto (that is, after doing the 8 Johto gyms and the Elite Four).

But I'm mostly in it for collecting Pokémons, and the selection of new spieces from the second generation stays very true to the first one which I like. No levitating ice cream cones etc. :-)

Revisiting the best Pokemon game
I've played every gen of Pokemon from Red-Green onwards. Gold and Silver were always my favorite story-wise so it's great to have a remake that brings the gameplay and interface up to date as well. The Pokewalker is a fun extra gimmick that encourages you to get active with your Pokemon. HGSS is showing its age a little now with Gen6 on the horizon, but it's still well worth a spin if only to pick up some of the rarer legendaries.

Favorite in the series
Yeah! With all the advancements and few degenerative enhancements, it's hard to say what the official best game is, but in my own opinion, I still love this game to death! Much improved on the gen. 2 originals, yet a lot of the same feel!
I even recently started playing Crystal (Very Humbling!)!
Both of the games in this set follow the pattern of Crystal, but maintain the version exclusives!
I like Lugia! So much so, that I've already gotten 3 copies of this verion, 2 of them, their original Japanese. Have the figurines that came with the U.S. Versions Johto DS reservation. And was Finally able to watch Pokemon: Lugia (Pokemon 2000) in it's original format (and heard the original Song of Lugia), which I bought on Japanese DVD from here! And realized the significance of "Ash's" importance in the story, even in his actual name, Satoshi (which translates as reason).
The games are fun and this is the original platform that I completed the Johto stories on! I'd only, maybe, made it to the 2nd Gym before I got my own Japnese copies.
Yes, I rather enjoy the Japanese versions of these as they provide slightly more challenge. And with the advent of the Gen. 5 games, I abhor my native U.S. versions (so much so, that I haven't even bothered with getting the U.S. Versions of the Gen. 5 games, nor will I).
So much to do! Such a fun game!
