description
Mugen no Frontier: Super Robot Taisen is an unorthodox sci-fi RPG that sets stage in a realm called Endless Frontier. Endless Frontier itself is a combination of a variety of worlds separated by dimensional walls.
Journey around this realm through cross gates and meet the inhabitants such as beastmen, mermaids, androids, demons and robots who have travelled from other realms.
The game's protagonist is a bounty hunter called Haken Browning who came from Lost Elensia, a world of advanced technology. Travel around in this realm, get to know the worlds and battle to save it with your friends.

A good game
Load up this game and you will find a game reminiscence to old SNES games of the yesteryears. The graphics in this game undermines what the DS is capable of. There isn't an opening animated intro, the game's graphics are what used to be a norm for GBA games. There isn't even a trace of 3D rendering anywhere in the game, from start till end. If you're still reading this and are able to look past the lack of modern eye candy, then you're in for a ride of a game.
Graphics aside, this game is just made of pure win. Battles are still fought with both teams taking a side of the screen but thats about where the similarity stops. The objective of the battle system in this game is to juggle your opponent in the air for as long as possible to increase the damage dealt by pushing the attack button in a timely manner. Each character gets at most 5 actions per term, depending on how much of the "COM" gauge is remaining (COM measures how many times you can attack per turn). However, you can switch characters while the enemy is in mid air, further holding the juggle to deal extra damage and increase your frontier gauge, to release a super attack. This only gets better when it comes to a boss battles and this game has a ton of boss battles. It almost has a boss waiting at every corner, which each boss taking close to 15 minutes to finish off depending on how well you do.
Apart from the battles, this game also has a great story with a great sense of humor thrown in to live it up. Characters insult each other constantly but seems more comical than offensive. You will meet some characters from other games such as Kos-Mos from Xenosaga and Xiaomu from Namco X Capcom. You don't need to know which character comes from what series though as they're not tied in with other stories.
Also worth mentioning that this game goes up to 40 hours in gameplay which is fairly long for a DS RPG game but it never stops to be amusing. If you're looking for a RPG game that will entertain for long hours, look no further than this. If you're looking for a game with gorgeous visuals and awe inspiring 3D effects, ignore your common sense for once and get this game anyway. You're in for a blast.

A unique new Super Robot Taisen without the Robots
This has a unnique battle system similar to FF8's limit breaks, but on a new level where you personally control the actions of your character in full, timing, attacks, spells and more.
Also other weapons, unique worlds to visit and not too hard maps to solve.

Marvel VS Capcom meets Final Fantasy
If you like Marvel Vs Capcom's juggling and super attack gameplay, and you like final fantasy-style RPGs, then this game is for you.

Nice game, Awesome Battle system and a very hard RPG
This is game was made for JRPG fans and RPG fans in general, really, this is one of the best RPG i have ever played in my life, seriously, the graphics maybe for a SNES title, but the music, the gameplay, the story and the characters TOTALLY AWESOME. You will love this game, it´s very hard but worth playing you're not gonna get bored, and if you are a Namco fan youre gonna love who appears in this game!

Very funny game
The graphics for world map, menu, etc it's not so great, but during battles, graphics and animation are really great! There is also voice acting!
The game mechanics is a bit difficult at the start, but once you get used to it, it became a lot funny to destroy the enemies with endless combos with massive damage and the fantastic finishing moves!
The game also as some reference to the main Super Robot Taisen Series (OG & OG2) so if you are a fan of that games, you should not miss this one, also if this is an action rpg!
