Walking your pup around the neighborhood is vital, as you’ll find items and meet other dogs. Over time, your pup’s stamina will increase so you can explore farther and farther. You also can interact wirelessly with your friends’ Nintendogs – you can set your DS to bark at you whenever another puppy is within wireless range.

It's cute...
buuut after a while? Kind of monotonous. I mean, honestly, I loved the game the first week I got it--and I still loved it later. It's just that when it comes down to it, there isn't that much to do in the game. Walk the dog (but you can't take it out again until it's rested for half an hour), train it a bit, enter a few contests a day...and the feeding and washing and caring and stuff. I really did like this game (I got it December 2008), but I rarely touch it now. However, if you have a 3DS, I highly recommend the 3DS version of the game. A much higher upgrade, and that one feels a bite less monotonous. :)
