description
In Rockman ZX, hundreds of years have passed since the battles between humans and Reploids (robots). After fierce wars between the two sides, peace was finally restored and the two groups were able to establish various cooperative nations within the "Inner" area of the universe. However, danger zones remained in the undeveloped "Outer" section where independently evolved robots called "Mavericks" began wreaking havoc. A group called the Serpent Company scours the Outer universe to provide energy created from otherwise unattainable items to the Inner population and also serves to protect these peaceful nations from Maverick attacks over the years. On an excursion to the Outer region, they discover relics of ancient technologies in the ruins. These relics, called Biometals, are living, conscious materials, with records of information and weapon data from history housed within.

Players assume the role of either a human male character named Vent or his female counterpart, Aile, who are employees of the Girouette Express, a courier service that takes jobs transporting anything to anywhere. On a job accompanying their boss, Girouette, to transport a package containing Model X and Model Z Biometals, they are attacked by a mysterious group of Mavericks who seeks to take the material for themselves. During the scuffle, the Model X Biometal is absorbed into the main character, causing a transformation into Model X form while the Model Z Biometal fuses with Girouette. Facing innumerable enemies, Girouette lends his newfound power to his employee and the two substances combine to formModel ZX. With powerful abilities at their disposal, they must discover who the menacing enemies are and what they are ultimately after.

    Rockman ZX (Megaman ZX)
This game is by far the best megaman game i have ever played. The story line rules, the characters are cool and each plays in a very different way. Oh, and the cutscenes are awesome. I very highly recommend this game!

    Better than the GBA versions
Mostly because it's not as unfairly difficult as them, and it really benefits from the extra buttons (playing Megaman Zero on the GBA was like torture sometimes). The story is very Megaman and very "game", so even if you can't read Japanese you're not missing much. The voice-acting is surprisingly good (if familiar), though.

By modern standards this is a tough game, but by Megaman standards it's pretty easy. Also, you recharge both energy AND lives (up to two) every time you use a teleport/save station (this honestly makes such a positive difference to the 'frustration factor' of the game I felt I had to mention it).

To sum-up: Graphics are great, gameplay is fun, story is forgettable, music is unmemorable, SFX are good, voice-acting is good.

Fun for most but can be hard for some
This game is great even if you can't read Japanese. The story will not be good so don't think you will be missing out on anything. The game has easy normal and hard(very hard if you ask me). Easy mode you will just fly by the game in a few hours so play normal mode and it will be worth your time. Hard mode will kill you if you are new in the megaman series because all most every thing will kill in seconds So play it tell you get use to it. If you bought the older games like megaman zero 1-4 and still have them then your in luck you can fight the old boss in those games (most be the jap version to work with the jap game). With the prices it has right now being US$ 19.90 you can't go wrong. and if you still can't make up your mind find someone with megaman zero 1-4 and try it out. Also 1 the hardest then 2 then 3 then 4. Hope this helps later.
