description
Konami continues the popular Ganbare Goemon (aka. Mystical Ninja) series with a brand new Nintendo DS platform release. Taking advantage of the dual screen technology, the upper screen will display maps, character closeups, text conversations and more, while the touch screen is used for the actual action.
Using your stylus, you can play a number of mini games, control Goemon's robot (Goemon Impact) or do other interactions. Ganbare Goemon: Toukai Douchuu is played in different perspectives including fixed isometric and side views as it's also been common in earlier releases of the series.

just like the N64 versions but more advanced! This is a great game and im glad i ordered it. The only frustrating parts are the minigames. Other than that it is amazing. Ganbare Goemon: Toukai Douchuu truly is Goemon, Ebismaru, Yae and Sasuke at their best!

Brilliance in your palm Excellent game. Though linear, the Zelda adventure feel, unique boss fights and great platforming stages make for a wonderful game that truly is a must have. Japanese knowledge would certainly help with this game, but it isn't required! The story is fairly straightforward, and it provides pictures to illustrate it along with dialogue. There will be rare instances where you won't know where to go, as well, and often finding out where to go next is as simple as exploring the areas deeply once again, as is custom in survival horror games (a bonus trait in this game if you enjoy sh games!) Great game, among the best the DS has to offer.
One of my favorite games for the DS This Goemon game is a must have for all DS owners. The graphics are top notch (cell shaded watery paint), and it plays a lot like an action/RPG although it's an action/adventure game.
AAhh I want it!! I would like to buy it, I loved goemon on N64,
but is this one hard to understand for non-jpanaese?
maybe I should wait for an english version? (because I'm sure I ll never have a french version anyway XD)
well tell me if you guys managed to play it without knowledge in japanese.
anyway I rate it 4 stars because I have seen a video which seems excellent and I love goemon!
Goemon and the gang Goemon is back in the anticipated new Ganbare Goemon Toukai Douchuu for the Nintendo DS. the environments in this game look as if they were hand painted by a watercolor master, the story itself is just as wacky as all the other Goemon games we know and love, and if you have never played a Goemon game, this will be a great start into the series. Great fun with goemon and the gang. OH ! and dont forget the fantastic Goemon Impact battles, and a couple of mini games keep the game fresh and has you playing for hours on end. AN ABLOLUTE MUST HAVE FOR ANY DS OWNER!

OH yes This game is proble one of the best on the DS so far now let's just make it go state side so others can Agree. Goemon and Ebisamaru back after a few years and it's about time
Impact-o Powaa! Ganbare Goemon DS finally brings back the ol' Goemon and Ebisumaru duo that had been missing for a few years now. You, the player, must guide the duo (plus Sasuke and Yae later) in an adventure/platform game similar to the first N64 title. The graphics in this game is pretty unique, as I can't recall a single game in recent memory that mixes pseudo-3D with vivid watercolor.
The graphics are so good & cute in this game!!~~ I just love games that you can freely jump around, run in & out of shops and hitting people including innocent villagers =) This game has it all! The plot of the story and gameplay is very good. A must-buy game with jaw-dropping graphics. This game makes the very best of what a DS can do and I was very proud showing if off to my friends. The bad side to it is that the sound is louder than regular DS games and game control is a bit difficult (hitting enemies accurately in 3D format), but overall it is still highly recommended.
