For A Boy, Quite fun
Im a collector in japnese stuff. When i heard this got over a million pre-orders i had to check this out. The interface gets some geting use to like maby 3 4 min. The 10 cards they give you are not the greatest but they give yo a create a shoe and dress and hair mode to use. Wich gives you some more possibillities. The super easy mode is really to easy and normal is quite a challenge. the sound everytime you click somthing gets reppetive and annoying but its really worth it. Im glad i picked this great game for 14$ at the sale. 8/10. an eight for the lack of cards and repetive voice when you click somthing. good for any boy or girl. ive never had a bad experince with the great PLAY_ASIA

Loving the game, hating the lack of cards!
I bought this game knowing that I wouldnt have enough cards, but was completely unprepared for how frustrating that would be ^^;

Gameplay itself is fun and cute, if not a little simple since you can only really play the most basic level with the cards included in the pack.

There are a few different modes that differ from the arcade versions of the game.
You can play the dress up/rhythm game thats on the arcade machines, but they have also added a few more:

Story mode (useless unless you know basic japanese),
A mode where you can rate your outfits before playing,
A section where you can create your own outfits (!) (this was exciting until i realised that I dont know how to use them as playable items ^^;)

and a wifi mode that can be used to compete or trade created designs.

This game is great for kids, and you don't really need any japanese skills at all as long as you dont play the story mode...

I will warn you though that your little ones might be frustrated by the lack of choice in the cards that come with the pack (they dont even make one complete outfit that actual matches O_O) I know I am. T_T

Overall awesome, cute addictive game which lets you down when you see how hard it is to find those cards!

Great! All except that it does not read English Version Card.
This game is real cool and great fun! My daughter simply loves it even though the user interface is in Japanese. But please note that this game does not read the regular English version L&B cards, so you'll have only limited choice by using the 10 pieces of special box-enclosed Japanese version game card.

Does not read English versions of arcade cards
I bought this game for my daughter who is addicted to the arcade game. The DS game plays exactly like the arcade version screen for screen. However, do note that the DS card reader does not recognise the English versions of the arcade cards. So now in order for my daughter to play the DS game meaningfully (read win)I have to go out and buy those love and berry card packs sold over the counter.

Japanese arcade cards can be used !
I bought this game which is Japanese version. The card reader can read Japanese arcade cards, these are collected at the arcade. To buy these arcade cards, you have to try the Japanese websites e.g. http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/
Type in "オシャレ魔女ラブandベリー" which is Love and Berry in Japanese. A lot of sellers are willing to sell their arcade cards.

Great game...if you have a good card collection already.
I received the game not too long ago and must thank playasia's great customer service as always. I thought the whole concept of this game sounded like loads of fun. Using cards to dress your character and then off to the dance/rhythm part of the game! I had never played Love and Berry prior to this purchase and quickly discovered that the cards that come with the package alone is not enough to complete any of the harder modes outside of the Beginner difficulty.

In short, I only recommend this game to those with a decent card collection already. I've had no luck finding extra cards online....bummer.

The dancing is actually fun, and the card reader takes the game to perfection. Playing feels so interactive! No Japanese skills are required to dress your girl & dance.

Pretty fun
I bought this game a while ago and it's actually pretty fun. The e-reader is cool and the game comes with a card pack. You'll really want to buy more cards to enjoy the game though.

DDR for girls~! sort of...
I recently bought this game mainly because I thought that the whole Idea of having an e reader for the DS was cool. I really love this game! It's super fun, the songs are catchy and you can change the girls outfits and "outdress" your oponent to victory ! The game gives you 10 real cards to play with, among 4 special cards which you can create your own "cards" via the ds and "load them up" to the special cards so you can swipe them! I don't think this game is for everyone, since it's ment really for little girls, but if you are a girl at heart you'll and want to try something really unique and catchy, this is for you!

The cool thing is you can buy extra ds cards over the internet to use with this game. Beware, I am unsure if the actual arcade cards are compatible with this ds card game. (There are two types of cards out there, "DS collection ones" used for this game, and regular "Arcade" cards, used for the arcade version of this game.)
