The stylus makes controlling Link easier than ever. Tap on the screen to make Link move, or sweep the stylus around him to swing the sword. Players can even draw a path for his boomerang and send it flying into hard-to-reach targets.
Players can stash the map on the top screen for quick reference or drop it to the touch screen to make notes, study enemies, or chart a path for their boat to follow while they man the cannons.
Compete with a friend over a local wireless connection: Guide Link through special dungeons to capture the Triforce or command the forces that oppose him.
description
The epic story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker continues as Link finds himself lost and alone in unknown seas in a new adventure. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls and innovative puzzles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass offers new challenges for fans of the series and an easy-to-grasp introduction for gamers new to The Legend of Zelda. But time grows short, and only the Phantom Hourglass can buy Link the minutes he'll need to survive.
Many months have passed since the events of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Link, Tetra and Tetra's band of pirates have set sail in search of new lands. They come across a patch of ocean covered in a dense fog, in which they discover an abandoned ship. Tetra falls into danger when she explores the ship alone, and Link falls into the ocean when he attempts to rescue her. When he washes up unconscious on the shores of a mysterious island, he is awakened by the sound of a fairy's voice. With the aid of this fairy, he sets off to find Tetra and his way back to the seas he once knew.

Meh, ok, but Don't Buy I'll say up front, unless you are a die hard Zelda fan do NOT buy this game; rent it instead. The style of the game is great and game play and storyline are fantastic along with the new boat controls, but damn, it gets SO ANNOYING having to go back and back and back again to that damn Phantom's dungeon! You practically have to have a guide to even complete that part of the game! It's just so annoying and after your first time through you just don't want to go through the hassle again. So rent it from a friend or buy it used for cheap, because you do NOT want to play this after the first time unless you live for Wind Waker.
The Best on Nintento DS! Brilliant Gameplay, very nice and cute Graphics and a epic Soundtrack.Special thanks to you Nintendo for another fantastic Zelda Title! Please, could you bring out a new 2-D Metroid for Nintendo DS?Thanks to you Play-Asia for the cheap Price, great Service and fast Delivery!

Very fun game, and good practice for language learners This game is quite enjoyable, and cuts through a lot of the usual Zelda BS. I usually don't like modern Zelda games too much, but I liked this one quite a bit. Of course, the US version is out, so if you're just looking to play the game, you probably should grab that version.
If you're studying the language, though, this is a great game to pick up. All Kanji can be touched to display the reading, which makes looking up words a cinch. The dialog is mostly pretty simple, although it does occasionally get confusing with the whole bit where every character speaks in a different silly dialect. This makes a fun project for any student, and it's highly recommended.
Playable on Wifi and loving it, - Best Zelda, EVER? Just to put peoples mind at ease, this is playable online against other people, by the normal methods
One such premise is, One player controls link and must navigate a level collecting tri-force pieces, whilst the other has an overworld map, and must guide guards by drawing the route paths to intercept link, with a single sword smash, link dies obviously you can get items to help against this, briefly heh, anyway it is timed, so after the time runs out you either win or lose
the story is great in the offline game, it carrys on from the wind waker on gamecube
i think i just wrote what people needed to hear, you don't need a spoiler for the story, you do however need to know this game is AMAZING ON WIFI with your friends :)))
I LOVE IT! Really fast delivery! I got this game exactly one week after I ordered it, and I played for hours! truely a great game! I reccomend it to any fan of the Zelda series!
Link on his best adventure yet!! Tap and slide your stylus around on the screen to make Link attack, move, roll, grab, throw and solve puzzles. The controls work amazingly well and the story is the best yet. The little wicket pirate Tetra is back and she is on a hunt for the ghost ship. Things go a bit wrong for her when she steps onto the ghost ship. But Link is here to save the pirate princess again.
This time You will be more in control of Link’s actions then ever before. As you will be controlling the whole game with the stylus. You can also make notes on the map to help you find your way around this amazing new world and its dungeons.
The graphics are amazing and all the cute sounds are here also. The mic on the DS also plays a part in some puzzles.
Buy the game and take the best Zelda adventure on the go with you!!!
The best in the series? Veteran followers of this series may feel a little weird playing this instalment. PH is completely stylus-controlled (the shoulder buttons notwithstanding), and takes a little to get used to. The puzzles are pretty simple to solve with clues everywhere to help any one stumped to get through. The boss fights are pretty entertaining (and easy). Music and graphics are about as good as they come on a DS. The repetitive part of returning to the Temple of the Ocean King does drag the game down. A sliver off perfect. But this game is still a 'must-buy' for anyone with a DS.

Great for study It's a fantastic game. All dialog has kanji characters, but touching any unknown words will pop up the pronunciation, so playing along with a dictionary makes for great Japanese language practice! You really need to be able to read to figure out some of the puzzles.

Truely A remarkable game for the DS This Legend of Zelda is amazing and has so much innovation put into it. The way it uses the DS in every way possible is beautifully done. The Graphics are top Notch as well as the controls. I never thought a game on a portable system can be so good in every way possible. Highly recommend this game. This is by far the best Ds game to date. Now go out and get this game.
