description
Taiko no Tatsujin DS is a rhythm action game. Like other Taiko games, the player plays the notes of a chosen song's drum part as they are displayed on the screen. The taiko drums can be played using the touch screen or the buttons. Taiko no Tatsujin DS has the ability to engage in 4 player wireless multiplayer. Users can also dress up and add decoration to the cartoon taiko characters.

Here's another addict... I just couldn't stop playing this game after I received in the mail yesterday. It's addictive in a almost horrifying way... The songs in this game are still looping in my head... I think we need a "Taiko no Tatsujin Addict Anonymous"...

New Addict Got tired of my other games so i got this one and now i have a rekindled love for my ds. The songs are great to play over and over again. And i was impressed that they added some classical music as well.

Super Easy To learn and addictive I love this game!
Even if you are not farmiliar with hiragana or katakana, this game is easy to understand.
It is so addictive also, I bought this game from play asia and it was shipped within 15 minutes not 5-15 days! Thanks Play-Asia!

Highly addictive If you're really into rhythm games, this is probably one of the best out there (If you don't own/like Elite Beat Agents). It's a really great handheld version of the PS2 game, and there's really catchy songs and even some classics, like a Namco remix and a Mario Bros. theme.
If you're bored with the DS games you have now, this should be at the top of your list!

I'm addicted! I loved the English PS2 version of Taiko Drum Master, and when I saw this, I knew I had to get it. It is amazing!!! I haven't played it that long yet, but it is already addictive.

Stupidly addicting The first day I got this game I could not put it down! I ended up clearing all of 'easy' mode in one, caffeine filled, sitting. The duration of the songs also makes it a great portable game. If you only have a few minutes, do just a song or two. It's a great example of on-the-go gaming.

Addictive ^_^ Maybe its just me who likes Rhythm based games (I love Ouendan #1 and Ouendan #2 and also Elite Beat Agents), I find Taiko no Tatsujin DS is also on the same theme :)
You have a choice to play with your stylus (2 provided with the case), or you can play with your keypads (if say, you lose your stylus, or broke your touch screen).
Some of the songs are age-old songs (Theme from Doraemon for example), some are classical songs (always one of my favorite) :) Some of the other songs are J-Pop, which hopefully suits your taste.
Translation is barely needed because the game interface is very simple, and learning by seeing is provided (in their tutorial), but if you really want to, there are some people out there already providing some translation on what does the menu say.
I played the game on my friend's DS once and it hooked me up already. I hope this will be made available very very soon ^_^
Price-wise, its the same with all your usual DS games, but since it comes with 2 custom-made Stylus (supposedly inside the box) I think the price is suitable :) - More discount is always accepted *hint hint*
PS: Don't get too excited and tap/hit your DS touch screen too hard :)
