description
Based on the stunning 3D revision of the Metroid series by Retro Studios, Hunters features first-person action controlled largely with the DS stylus. The game also features multiplayer gameplay. Experience the ferocious first-person action of the Metroid Prime universe on the Nintendo DS. Hone your skills against a slew of enemies in single-player training modes like Regulator, Survival and Morph Ball, then put them to the test when you compete in Death Match arenas with your friends over a wireless connection. Multiple control schemes take full advantage of the touch screen, giving all gamers an ideal way to play. The top screen displays the main game action in 3D, while the bottom screen doubles as a map and as a control "mouse pad" for the stylus.

    Better then English Version
Much better then english version and for 20% off you should buy this. It includes an ok single player mode but not so good, anyways they have training modes wich the english version doesn't have! Besides that the game is worth buying becuase theres multiplayer, wireless or wifi. Bad thing is that you cant play with bots on wifi only on wireless. Import this shooter now!

    This game is great.
The storymode is repeating but this is only an extra´, this game is a multiplayer game. And the FMV´s are indeed pretty nice. Online its fun beacause you many options and ranks to get better. Its lik an FPS on the comp. When you wanna have fun buy it.
You will have many fun with it.

overall poor game. Please read this.
If you like the keyboard and mouse for FPS games, you will find this games control scene is similar, and thats great, however, the gameplay is completely broken with imbalance all over the place. First off, single player is not about exploration anymore, NTS (the creators) said that this game is all about action. Then where are the new enemies? even the first two bosses repeat themselves 4 times untill the final boss. You will find yourself fighting the same hunters, guardians, and bosses all the way to the end. That would be alright if the story wasn't as bad as it is. Dont get me wrong, its fun, just fun. Its just too simple is all.

Most importantly, the gameplay and invoronments. First off, I thought NTS told us this was about multiplayer! All the maps for multiplayer are ripped right out of single player. Some of them are very nice looking, and in theory would play great if put into a game like UT or quake. The problem is the weapon damage. You can fire 4 missles right into someone and they wont die. Also, missles have no splash damage. There is no more firing at peoples feet or into hall ways to hope to stop someone. Its all about raw aim. You can hit people with all sorts of things directly, with perfect aim, and yet they can still go into alt form and run away. This game boils down to one thing competatively

    Sniper rifle = god

A zoomed in shot with the sniper rifle is an automatic instant kill. Always. If you are a good player, you start to get headshots all over the place. And in real 1v1 matches nobody moves. You just run the whole time and if u can get 1 headshot, then u can run until the time limit is up. Okay so the game is FAIR, but where is the skill?

This gameisnt that bad, but its just not worth getting into. Many players who have 4-5 stars (high rank) and are very skilled have decided to quit because of the games horrible balance as well as the WIFI glitches, such as buddies dont apear when added, and 4 player games are sometimes impossible.

If you like competition, save your money, if you like samus, save your money and get a copy of Super Metroid.

    WOW!!
A fantastic and perfect FPS for the DS. The most detailed and perfect 3d the DS has ever done and probably will ever do. great single player but once again its all about the wireless play including deathmatches and capture the flag the AI is very good too. This game will never leave my ds cartridge slot its that bloody good! 10/10 pure nintendo perfection with refined inch perfect controls.
