description
Enter a courtroom like no other in the sequel to Capcom's surprise hit Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All (aka. Gyakuten Saiban 2 in Japan) introduces four new cases featuring new characters, plot twists and gameplay features. Players resume the role of Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney who must prove his client's innocence against the toughest of odds and most ruthless of adversaries.

As in the first Phoenix Wright game, each case involves two distinct storylines. In the investigation phase, you survey crime scenes, interview witnesses and gather evidence that will be used in court. Then it's on to the court phase, where you pesent findings from the investigation to support your case, listen to testimonies, cross-examine witnesses, and tease out fact from fiction so you can prove your client's innocence. All presented in a comical anime style.

Just like its predecessor, Gyakuten Saiban 2 features full English/Japanese text support. Just press the lower button on the game's start screen to switch the game into English.

Gyakuten Saiban 2 is the second game in the popular court room battle series from Japan and ported from the original GBA™ version Gyakuten Saiban 2 to the Nintendo DS™. The game is released as "Best Price" budget release version right away.

Not as good as the other two, but still good
I must say, this second is rather disappointing as compared to the first and third installment of the PW series, due to the plot of the cases. (E.g. Some points are not clearly explained.) Even so, the psychelock feature is fun to play around with and scenes with the new characters are simply hilarious. All in all, this is still something I would recommend.

it's aces!!!
I finished this game a couple of weeks ago and am now eagerly awaiting delivery of GS3. There's not much I can add to everyone else's reviews, it's that good. Like GS1 the japanese version comes in both Japanese and English. This one has only 4 cases instead of 5, but the cases are just as difficult/ridiculous to solve, if not more so.

Better than the first
Loved it! Not a perfect game, but a good game nonetheless. I recommend it to anyone who has a DS.

Fun and hilarity ensues
The script is still as witty as the first installment, see most of the old characters, meet some new ones and be prepared for some weird circumstances and twisted cases.

A good continuation of the Phoenix Wright story. Definate must have if you've played and loved the first one!

Best DS Game Ever?
Yes.

Gyakuten Saiban 2 re-assures the game series as the number one on Nintendo DS. Without a doubt a must-have title if you own a DS.

Short, but sweet.
Let's put it like this: if you like mystery novels, like to think, like to investigate, and like surprises then this game is for you. Many people are put off when they see this is a game about a lawyer, but the game is so good this is criminal. Court procedures in the game do not reflect real life, for example there's no jury. It features top-notch anime inspired writing and unforgettable characters, and a sense of humor to boot.

The US version features excellent localization, keeping most of the name puns to keep many jokes in the game. In the previous games there were investigation scenes that were a bit boring. The sequel attempts to spice it up by adding the psyche-lock system, where you question and present evidence to make some characters reveal their deepest secrets.

Great writing and an involving story, a 4 out of five.

Best DS Series Around
There is nothing more enjoyable, exciting and entertaining to play on the DS than the Phoenix Wright series, and Justice for All is a superb continuation of what began in the original game.

Be warned though! The cases and the investigations in this game are more challenging, but certainly something an Ace Attorney can handle!

More of the same...
But in the best way possible. Phoenix Wright is like a fantastic interactive novel that keeps you sucked in until you see each case to it's conclusion.

Only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the lack of a DS specific case, like the first one.

Almost too good
It is, it really is.
Now, some of you may think that this game will be way shorter than " Ace Attorney ". It's not. I think it took me longer to beat this, than it took me to beat Ace Attorney.
The game is harder, but if you've played the previous game you wont notice much, cause you're skills have improved since " Ace Attorney ". The twists in the previous game wasn't anything.. really.. twisty. It made you go : - Oh poopie.
In this game, the twists are so twisty it makes your balls hurt, you're eyes bleed and your brain explode. It's a big, big poopie. I mean like, a very BIG poopie, really. Let's say Saturn without the ring, and formed like a turd, that's how big of a poopie it is.

If you don't have this game or do not intend to buy it, you don't deserve a DS. Heck, you don't deserve your computer.

So yeah, it's pretty darn good.

You are not prepared...!!

Sorry, just had to say it..
